I read the other review that said it did not fit under the seat on his airplane and I can neither confirm or deny that it would work. If you are looking for a bag that will fit under an airplane seat you should do your research. SO many great pockets!!! I've only flown once with it and so far I LOVE it!! It fit under my seat (American) and I could easily access the pockets to get my neck pillow, blanket, ear phones, gum, and laptop (MacBook Pro--needed a slight angle). I primarily bought this little bag to use as a free personal item on most airlines. Unfortunately, I found that it only counts as "free" with Spirit, as seen in the attached photos. It is too big for Frontier, JetBlue, and American (which is not pictured, but was the airline I was travelling on). It is a good bag that holds a lot, however. The built in toiletry organizer is a plus, but the more you put into it, the less likely it is to fit the allowed dimensions of even a Spirit personal item. Updated: Frontier charged $100 because the rules state 18x14x8 and this bag is 15x15x8 - so it’s 1 inch TALLER than the height limit. I have flown with this for 10 years now and they’re finally clamping down on its size. FYI for those ordering who think it will fly for free… the manufacturer needs to coordinate with the current airline sizes! Original: Have ordered several of these size suitcases over the years. Great because it fits under the seat for business travel. This has been used on picky airlines like Spirit and Allegiant for years. Also nice that it has a pull out handle so you don’t have to carry it (when full it gets pretty heavy).
