Super functional for plane rides. Not every plane in on has a monitor and I don’t work travel with an iPad. This is helpful when I don’t want to sit and hold my phone and watch a movie. It’s also great in the rental car because it can clip on different things. So easy nav when you’re traveling in an unknown area. My daughter bought one of these to use her phone to watch movies while we were flying. It fit perfectly on the Table when in the upright position and was a stand when the table was down. It folds up small to keep in your purse. I had to buy one so I have one of my own for our next trip!

Wife and I recently went on a long vacation with plenty of flight time. I bought this thinking of her mostly. The gadget delivered. It is very easy to mount on the tray table while stored in the back of the seat in front during a plane ride, it can also clamp on the tray table while deployed. It clamps up to about 1" and the front pivots all the way around. Depending on the user's height and the tray table position, one can adjust the angle very easily to see the screen well. It works well, there is a strong grip and my phone does not fall. It doesn’t work great with my phone case on unfortunately. It folds up quite nicely for travel but it is quite noisy.
