Mounted on my trucks bed rack and I have no regrets. It looks awesome. It’s made of strong plastic and definitely seems highly durable to the elements. I bought the v730 to use as a bow case for my hoyt ventum 33. The cut out was fairly easy for a first timer. The case itself is everything I could ask for barring an internal lock. This case has wheels so it is easy to move around. It will hold two rifles comfortably. It is technically too large for most airplanes if they use their normal bag dimension rule (73 total inches vs. 60 inch total for most airline baggage rules). It also happens to be too big for the trunk of my car so I ordered the next size down. Also a great case that fits one rifle, but it has no wheels. But it did fit in my trunk. ... show more

Love this to hold a hunting rifle with plenty of extra room. It’s easy to cut the foam inside to fit most firearms. It is durable and almost seems bullet proof. It is pretty heavy and might be good to use for traveling with a firearm.

This is a seriously premium case. It's not quite as heavy duty as my other pelican case, but it is plenty sturdy for a rifle and has made 2 trips with me as checked luggage so far. I do find that if you overstuff it, the middle will bulge, so it might not offer quite as much crush protection as their other cases do, (one star off there) but it also feels like a more luxurious product than my other cases do. The latches are absolutely divine. They are so easy to close, even when it is overstuffed. And they release just as easy. The latching mechanism is somehow relieved from the tension in the case when it is overstuffed. On my other pelican I have to just about kick the latches shut when it's too full. These ones open and close with a nice satisfying click, and none of the cursing I am used to. Great case. ... show more
