Love the tear-away zipper tabs. Makes getting into the bag super convenient and save a lot of time, when you just want to get into your stuff and on with your vacation. Too bad there's no option to do it in reverse. Material is very thin, but expandable. Has less defined shape than other packing cubes with tougher frabics, but more vertitile. Also comes with a great replacement warranty if you register product at Peak Design's website. Dirty clothes compartment is a nice touch. As it gets full, have to use some effort to stuff clothes in as soiled clothes are no longer folded/rolled. Would be great if that pocket was more expandable. So far, soiled clothes smell does not bleed through to the clean compartment Breathable only when you open expandable zipper Wish there was different colors for the tear-away zipper tabs, zipper for expandable/compression zip, and grab handle for easy visualization when in a pinch. The grey on black can be a bit plain and hard to distinguish especially the dark. After a while you do get used the positioning of everything though. Would be great if they added more grab handles. More than half the time, I just grab the whole bag by the body Zippers have very smooth transition. No snags or stop gaps Unlike the small version that's able to fit socks, underwear and T-shirts; the medium size is able to fit pants and shorts. I searched the web for a review of the PD Packing Cubes paired with Away Luggage. I travel almost non-stop. As someone who works in DC, has a home in NC, and travels often for work, my luggage is a workhorse. For 2 years, I've been using Away Luggage (the very best suitcase on the market!) and was interested to see how PD Packing cubes would integrate with the Away standard carry-on. The packing cubes are high quality and durable. Love them! They are well made, easy to use, and stylish. I have not complaints. I started by using the interior measurements of the Away standard carryon. I decided to go with 2 mediums. As best as I could figure, 2 large would sit comfortable side-by-side on the compressible side of the suitcase. Medium cubes are too large fit one side of the suitcase. If you carrying Away (or any standard 20-inch carry-on), a medium and a small will fit comfortably in your bag. Because of the compressible nature of the packing cubes, 2 mediums will still work. I plan order the smaller cube. As someone who has logged many, many miles on the road and in the air, here are my recommendations for easy travel: Away Travel standard carry-on with built in battery, Peak Design Packing cubes, Peak Design Tech Pouch, Gravel Travel Premium toiletries kit, Bose QC 35 II's noise cancelling headphones, Boundary Supply Errant Pack. I'm traveling around the world and these compression cubes have been the best things I've purchased for this trip. 14 months and 25 countries (and still counting); the cubes are in amazing shape and still 100% functional. They are not cheap, but worth the money!

Absolutely love the overall design and quality of craftmanship. For me, I was able to fit one pair of Smartwool Merino 250 full-length bottoms, Icebreaker Merino 320 full-zip long sleeve, Arcteryx RHO Balaclava, Icebreaker Merino 250 neck gaiter, Smartwool 150 Merino tight-fit beeenie and a pair of Smartwool heavy-trekking Merino wool crew socks. And even with all this I did not have to expand it! It is a perfect fit slipping into the padded, expandable laptop space in my Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault pack. Love it. I am currently using nine for my baby’s diaper bag essentials. I keep her nappies, wipes, spare clothes, smaller wet bag, and emergency kit in it. That way I can throw it into any bag— mine or my husbands, along with her toys and bottle bag. I’m considering getting one for myself as well because of the compression aspect. You can fill it up and zip it into a space half it’s height. The flexible material means it isn’t taking up additional space in luggage with ridges and walls. I haven’t tested the usability of the dirty ‘hamper’ pocket on the front, but so far so good. I do wish it had some kind of divider inside of it.
