Allergic reaction on my hands after 30 seconds of wearing. I felt that the back of hands were itchy after I took them off, so I washed them and applied a steroid cream. It’s not latex but something is not right . Going to stick to platex brand from now on.

These non-latex (PVC) gloves seem as durable as the latex version, so if you have a reason for avoiding latex, they are a great alternative—and they are worth considering for anyone looking for household cleaning gloves. The fit of these gloves is a bit small—perhaps half a size. Do not hesitate to buy a size larger than usual. Many women will be satisfied with a large. Men may find even a large to be a tight (but acceptable) fit. Once on, they work well. You can feel what you are working on, and yet you are somewhat protected from hot water. There is some patterned texture on the palms to aid with your grip. And in pink, they add a bit of fun frill to the task—to include some lace-like detailing at the cuff. I am a person who never liked the concept of dishwashing. It’s dull, it irritates my hands, the water is never the right temperature, etc… But after using these gloves, my dishwashing experience becomes an enjoyable one instead of obligation! Honestly, I never liked the concept of wearing gloves for dishwashing. It makes a dish smells rubbery and odd, and you don’t even know if you are washing it right! But then one day, I decided to test the water by using these gloves. Pacific’s cleaning gloves are completely latex-free and odorless. Anyone with latex allergy can safely use this product as well. I can also use baking soda, bleach, or any other strong detergent to clean up my dishes without my hands getting irritated, which was a gamechanger for me. Not to mention, I can barely feel a thing even if the water temperature is set to the highest (or if it is freezingly cold). It makes me feel like I am wearing Superman’s cape! That said, as the description makes a warning, be sure to avoid high-concentration chemicals or direct contact with a sharp object and knives. Also, this product is not heat resistant to extreme temperatures. So don’t use it as an alternative of a kitchen mitten! Lastly, although the item title proclaims it is kitchen gloves, you can obviously use it for different purposes such as cleaning and gardening. Have some extra pairs of this for every scene you wish to avoid direct contact on the surface! ... show more
