Very difficult to be assamble for elderly women. Some woods were cracked. The ceiling material too fragile and not big enough. The hammock is heavy and does not seem too sturdy.

Well what can I say? I bought it and while assembling it I noticed something was off. The base was fine, the hammock was fine but the curved canopy holders were both u finished and with major errors. One was half the thickness so I had to buy 2 sets of washers just to keep the screws tight and it was curved so much that the top of the frame never touches the canopy. Instead of a nice egg shaped cover I got a physically challenged one. The other side was the right thickness but literally had no predrilled holes.? Thank God I had a drill set. I brought this up to the seller and have not heard back. I would have given 5 stars if they responded and provided at least one new curved canopy frame. It's OK in comfort but very difficult to get in. And without the safety arms you'll fall over. With them you don't rock. It's nice looming but if you want true comfort go somewhere else. ... show more

I like the overall look, but at some point, I will probably put a different hammock on the stand as it isn't very comfortable. When you lay on it, the canopy frame is realllly wobbly. Makes me think a strong wind will break it. It was not easy to put together and they sent me parts that don't go to anything. The directions sucked. Also, one piece of wood was split where they put the bolt threading in. I just glued it back together as there was no way I could get the whole thing back in the boxes to return. I purchased to compliment my backyard oasis. So, let's start with the pros: 1. It beautiful to look at 2. It's a conversation starter. 3. it was easy to put together. 4 it appears sturdy. 5 its HUGE, it "looks" like 2 people can fit comfortably HOWEVER NOW TO THE CONS 1.the hammock bed material is made of CHEAP drop cloth (what you use to cover floors when you paint) 2. it's not sturdy nor can this hammock hold one person without touching the ground, let alone 2 people. 3. I adjusted the chairs for tension, still when on it i'm on the ground. I have to purchase a more sturdy hammock ( made of better material) I wish I could return it, its really a waste of money ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Bought this back in Sept 2021 and kept it inside the shipping box in the house until today. Assembled it and immediately the wooden support beam that the canopy attaches to cracked. If this support beam can’t handle the tension of a canopy, I’m afraid the hammock support beam won’t be able to handle the weight of a regular sized person. Very disappointed. ... show more
