  • One month in! It's great!
Color: Stealth Size: 9
I've been wearing the oura ring gen 4, stealth, size 9 for exactly one month now. First off, sizing. I was between sizes 9 and 10. I opted for the smaller size using this little test: Using the plastic ring sizes, if you cannot take off the ring in the morning when your fingers are puffiest, and the only way to do so is by wetting your finger to add some slippage, then that's the right size. With the bigger size, I was able to take off the ring in the morning without using water so I felt that size was too big. One month later, I am glad I went with the smaller size. No discomfort and still using water in the morning to take off the ring before I shower. Comfort I wear it on my right index finger. I did not like in between fingers, which is the reason I wear a silicone wedding band. But overall, it's not very intrusive. It's annoying to write with a pen or pencil but that's not often. Appearance I love the stealth color. Already got a few scratches on my palm side, which is a little annoying. But I tell myself that at least the back of my hand, the ring looks like new. I use these silicone protectors when working out with weight and it does a great job. The scratches came from handling things where I should have taken off my ring. I wish there were some way to make the scratches less visible as these scratches you see a shiny silver metal which contrasts a lot! Battery No issues. I charge it every few days or so while I shower. I am manually trying to keep the battery at between 25% and 75% but most often I forget that I left it charging and it goes back to 100%. Sleep Tracking I'm not a power user. I enjoy checking in the morning my sleep score and compare it to how I thought my sleep went the night prior. Pretty accurate sleep tracking in my opinion. Fitness Tracking. So we all know that the step counter is way off so I don't really care about that. However, the ring really is good at spotting fitness "events" and I love that when opening the app, there's a backlog of events that you have to confirm the type of activity. My top three are: housework, walking, and HIIT. The app gets better at recognizing the events so most times I am just confirming instead of categorizing. Overall, this level of tracking is simply encouraging me to be more active, which has lead to a good impact on my health. Overall, pretty satisfied with the ring. Glad I got it. ... show more

  • Love Love Love my Ring!
Color: Black Size: 8
I recently upgraded to the Oura Ring 4, and it has completely changed the way I track my health! The sleep tracking is incredibly detailed, providing insights into my sleep stages, readiness score, and recovery. I also love the continuous heart rate monitoring and activity tracking—it helps me stay mindful of my overall wellness without the bulk of a smartwatch. The ring itself is sleek, lightweight, and comfortable, making it easy to wear 24/7. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 8 days before needing a charge. The sizing kit was super helpful in ensuring the perfect fit. If you're looking for a discreet yet powerful fitness and wellness tracker, the Oura Ring 4 is absolutely worth it! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Amazing and very helpful if you have anxiety
Color: Silver Size: 9
The brushed silver is much nicer than standard silver one, the standard silver one is ugly. Brushed silver looks so much better. It tracks sleep very well and gives you great insight to your health. Never would I have thought of spending this kind of money on a health ring, but it helps my anxiety - Just be aware for all the features you have to subscribe and its an annual fee, that is the only down side so far. It also scratches very easily so if you work with your hands, or are clumsy its gonna scuff. ... show more

  • Oura Ring 4 - Gold - Size 12 - Smart Ring
Color: Gold Size: 12
Disappointing Experience with the Oura Ring 4 – Not Worth the Hype I was genuinely excited to try the Oura Ring 4 in Gold, Size 12, especially given all the hype surrounding its capabilities and the hefty price tag. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my frustrations to hopefully save others from making the same mistake. 1. Poor Fit and Comfort Despite following Oura's sizing guide meticulously and even using their sizing kit, the ring felt off from the start. Size 12 was supposed to be a perfect fit based on their recommendations, but it turned out to be either too tight at times or too loose, shifting uncomfortably throughout the day. The ring’s design, which is supposed to be sleek and unobtrusive, ended up feeling bulky, making it annoying to wear for extended periods or during workouts. 2. Low Durability and Quality Concerns The gold finish started showing signs of wear and scratches within just a few weeks of careful use. For a device that costs this much, I expected the coating to last significantly longer. The durability issues make me question the overall build quality, which is disappointing considering the Oura Ring’s premium positioning in the market. 3. Unreliable Tracking and Inconsistent Data The main reason I bought the Oura Ring was for its acclaimed health and sleep tracking capabilities. However, the results have been all over the place. The sleep data was particularly frustrating—often recording awake time as sleep and underestimating the time spent in different sleep stages. Even the heart rate variability and activity tracking seemed off, frequently providing results that contradicted my other fitness devices, which are far less expensive. One of the most frustrating issues was the temperature sensor, which would occasionally spike for no reason, causing unnecessary concern. Given that accurate health tracking is supposed to be this ring’s selling point, the inaccuracies were a dealbreaker for me. 4. App Problems and Syncing Issues The Oura app was another letdown. Syncing was hit or miss—sometimes taking several attempts or failing completely. The app would frequently crash or freeze, making it frustrating to access my data. Additionally, the user interface, while visually appealing, often felt cluttered and less intuitive than I expected. For a product at this price, I expected a seamless and reliable app experience, but that was far from reality. 5. Lackluster Customer Support When I reached out to customer support to address these issues, the experience was just as disappointing. After multiple attempts to contact them, all I got were generic, copy-paste responses that did nothing to resolve the problems I was experiencing. It was clear that support was more focused on closing tickets quickly than actually helping customers troubleshoot their issues. 6. Overpriced for What It Offers In hindsight, I feel like I paid a premium price for a product that delivers a subpar experience. The unreliable tracking, app issues, and lack of effective customer support make it hard to justify the cost. There are far more reliable and cost-effective options available that offer better tracking accuracy and a more seamless user experience. Conclusion Overall, my experience with the Oura Ring 4 has been overwhelmingly negative. From the fit and finish to the core functionality, it has failed to meet my expectations at every turn. If you’re considering this ring for its health and sleep tracking capabilities, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Save your money and invest in a more reliable and reasonably priced alternative. ... show more
