This mattress is somewhere between heaven and a coma, love it! I feel like I’m catching up on sleep with night 4. It takes about two days as your joints and full body get used to the soft hugging support, once it adapts there really is no going back to a traditional mattress. I had my 70 year old mom try it and within 15 minutes her hips shifted back into comfortable, proper, alignment and within 20 minutes she was nearly asleep (mid day first try). This is the best mattress that I have ever owned. Pair it with a platform frame and it’s a wonder we still use ‘box springs.’ It looks great, feels great. Highly recommend! ... show more

I have been sleeping on an air mattress as my old mattress was a hand me down and worn out. I wanted an affordable bed that would be soft and comfortable to sleep in. I find some memory foams to be too firm for my taste. I compared beds on Amazon and searched through reviews for the right bed and finally took the plunge on purchasing this mattress. First I have to say, that I'm 5'2 woman and don't think I'm extraordinarily strong and was able to move the box and the mattress just fine (in and out of the packaging). Within 30min of unwrapping the bed was nearly all the way to normal. Even trying it before it was finished, this bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever been on. Its not a firm bed... the top is soft and feels like a cloud. It conforms to you... but you don't sink too much into the bed. It's perfect in comfort and support. It's so comfortable you almost don't even need a pillow! I'm a side sleeper and this bed is just divine! I can't speak to longevity yet... but the bed looks and feels like quality. With the price and comfort I'm not too worried! I know some speak of a smell, but even as someone very sensitive to chemical odors, I didn't detect anything unless my nose is literally buried in the mattress and even then it's very faint. ... show more

fear. thats a feeling that had me for months denying myself from buying a mattress from amazon. fear and the potential of me wasting so much of my own time and money that i can BARELY afford on something that wouldn't really be able to serve an alternative purpose should it not do what it was intended to do - i saw this mattress, read the reviews, and i mean i read about 20+ individual reviews through and through to see whether this was worth it. it was. this mattress is incredibly soft, and yet still firm enough that it supports you properly, its very well packaged - vacuum sealed - unlike the one other mattress i'm glad i didn't pick up - there was many a review that said they got fcking BED BUGS in their mattress... right under the surface of the bags that company supposedly packaged them in.. and somehow that mattress was still getting 4 - 5 star reviews. umm. no. i get that there's warehouse issues from time to time, but these are things that have to be addressed, acknowledged, handled appropriately and MAINTAINED so that it prevents such problems from arising - and apparently that wasn't the only review that had bed bugs. scary..... BUT - that was a mattress from a different company - lucid or something - and it showed me to be really careful when i search for a product worth my time. THIS particular mattress is like sleeping on a cloud. You ever wonder what sleeping on a cloud would feel like? this mattress is just that, and for the price, this is worth it - especially considering i was upgrading from a smaller bed that was hard and springy - i slept like a baby the first night it was fully set up - i almost didn't want to get up but once i did i felt REFRESHED and ready to go for once, and this was after 3 long years of sleeping on a mattress that was too damn small for me - after waiting another 8 more months knowing i needed to get a new one and not really having any other options. fear. i'm here making this review to erase the fear you might have in purchasing this mattress if you have a low budget like i do, to say as a consumer that has tried it and has had their life improved with such a purchase... that you need not fear you will regret purchasing this mattress. this is the one you're looking for. ... show more

I can't speak to the long term comfort of the bed, but after a week I would say it is a good value if you get it shipped for less than two bills. My past memory foam mattresses have had a break in period where they were very firm. This one did not. I prefer a firm or plush type mattress, as I need support but do not want to feel like I am sleeping on a board. I hope that the initial softness of this mattress not mean it will be way to soft in a few months, but time will tell on that one. Update: After 45 days all the firmness is gone. There is no support. It is as bad as the one it replaced. My back is hurting again. I can not recommend this as I just flushed $300 down the drain. ... show more
