A little time consuming to build alone but well worth it. It is extremely sturdy and has plenty of space. Make sure you pay attention to part numbers when putting the drawers together otherwise you might break through the inside of the drawer.

Now that it’s fully assembled and in place, I’m happy with this purchase. During the four-hour assembly, I wasn’t so sure. Some of the components feel a bit cheap, and a few of the screws had machining issues. The cam locks aren’t the best quality, but there were plenty of extra hardware pieces, and we were able to get it all put together in the end. I don’t think this piece would hold up well through multiple moves, but for where it’s sitting now, I expect it to last several years. For the price, it’s exactly what I expected. On the bright side, it looks great and much more expensive than it actually is. We’ve already gotten several compliments on it. Just be prepared that assembly takes a while and there are a lot of pieces. Still, that’s fair for the price point. Overall, it’s a really nice addition to our kitchen for the money. ... show more

I really like this piece and after assembly it seems very sturdy, but it was a very lengthy assembly. It wasn't overly difficult, just long with something like 40 different body panels and what felt like hundreds of screws, dowels, cams and other fasteners and connectors. The total assembly time for me was about 3 to 4 hours, not hurrying through. everything went together right with the exception that I think I didn't get all the right brackets for the drawers. I had to drill a little to get them installed right and I missed it by a tiny bit so one drawer is tilted back slightly. It wasn't really difficult to assemble, just very time consuming or I'd have rated the ease of assembly higher. The other challenge I wasn't expecting was that this piece comes in 2 separate boxes which I didn't realize and they didn't come together. I opened up the first box, spread the 20 or so pieces around the floor and found there was no instructions or screws/hardware to go with it. Then I found the note saying there was a second box and to just be patient. This was made more confusing because the amazon order just showed delivered at that point so I wasn't sure the second box was coming. I contacted the seller and they responded within a few hours with a tracking number. When I checked it the next morning the second box was out for delivery. The piece looks fantastic and fits well in the area I needed it. We purchased it for a coffee bar and as you can see it fits the coffee maker, grinder, all the coffee cups, coffee, sweetener and supplies and tea stuff all with room to spare. I think half of the cost was for all the packing materials used. I could have used either box as a battering ram they were so well protected. THERE ARE TWO BOXES THAT WILL BE SHIPPED AND LABLED BOX A AND BOX B. YOU NEED BOTH! A MONKEY CAN PIUT THIS TOGETHER! Two monkeys make it faster. The pilot holes were perfectly lined up. All the hardware was present and labeled for easy identification. They even added a pack of spare hardware that was labeled as spare. Follow all 52 steps and this thing goes up perfectly. Only gripe is you may have to get additional wood glue for the wooden dowels. There are two small tubes provided, but I seemed to run pretty low on glue as I got to the end. The only tools I needed were a ratcheting screw driver and an Allen tip for the baseboard. I used a small powered screw gun for the clips in the back. But you do not need one to complete the task, it just makes it easier. Stay away from an actual drill as you will strip the boards. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a decently priced cabinet that is simple to build, and looks great. I wanted a cabinet for not only my china but also for use as a liquor cabinet. It holds my 8 piece China set with all its accessories easily! The cabinet came in 2 boxes, that were quite heavy. So grab a friend or a dolly to move. The pieces were packed with care and protection, I had NO damaged pieces. The hardware for assembly and the wood pieces were marked clearly, numbers for the wood pieces and the alphabet for the hardware(screws, bolts, handles etc). If you’re thinking you can get it assembled in an hour or 2, think again. It took my hubby about 6hrs to get it together. He took his time to get it right the first time since there is quite a few steps and various parts that go in their designated area and the instructions are a bit hard to follow. They include spare parts which was very convenient since one of the cam locks broke when he was tightening it down. They also included these stickers that matched the wood, to place over the cam locks to camouflage them. It is very sturdy and stable. Before, I had my China in a cabinet above my refrigerator. I had to drag out a step stool to reach it and made multiple trips up and down to get what I needed. Then repeat the process to put it all away. Now, I can walk over and get what I need with both feet firmly on the ground! Love, love, lOVE this cabinet! ... show more
