I'm SO disappointed. I was expecting the box to be 12" x 12", but its not. The size of the box is 11"x 11". I needed every possible inch for my grandkids to store stuff. Not only does the size matter but the overall box is weak. I've added more comments after each of the following "description" statements. The description states "can afford 100kg/220lbs". Not on your life. It went sideways when a 98 lb friend used it as a step-stool. The description also states "Generous Storage: store magazines, books, pillows, throws, TV remotes, kid toys, dog toys blankets and so on, de-clutter your living room or bedroom"... nope, I don't think so. The pillows and throws they refer to must be for Barbie doll stuff. I have had Amazon Prime membership for years but the new 1-day delivery is a joke. More often than not the items show up days later than the 1-day expected delivery. I mean, it’s pretty much exactly what you would expect from something at this price. I can’t complain about it. You just unfold it, place a piece down inside of it to hold the form and then put the lid on. It’s lightweight. It’s not wooden, so it’s relatively flimsy feeling, but as long as you only use it for what it’s intended for (holding some small items and resting your feet) you should be fine. It’s still more than sturdy enough to hold your feet if you’re sitting in a chair. I have a feeling the people who are breaking this are trying to stand or sit on it. This is not a heavy duty ottoman. It’s less than $20. The negative reviews are from the type of people who expect greatness from something, just because they spent their money on it. If you spend $100 on something, then yeah, expect higher quality, but this honestly is great for the price. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is just because something cheaper like this doesn’t have anything that makes it 5 stars. That’s no fault of the brand or the item. That’s what they were targeting here. Cheaper things like this are just 4 stars. That’s the max that they’re really worth. I have no problem recommending this. Absolutely perfect! Super easy to assemble quick shipping and the perfect solution for excess makeup storage. Also I’d like to say that this ottoman actually looks better than the pictures. I purchased this storage ottoman for two purposes. The first, was to hold my excess makeup or skincare products not on display and the second my toddler loves to watch me put my makeup on but tries to sit on my lap. Since I only have one seat in the room. This is the perfect solution and it takes up zero space. When she’s done using the ottoman it can be easily tucked away in a corner ☺️ P.s definitely sturdy seating for a child not sure about a full grown adult thought ... show more

I am really surprised how nice it looks for the price. It looks like actual furniture and not just some flimsy collapsible storage box. Sturdy enough to store a few things though I wouldn't try sitting on it. The smell when it arrived though! Chemicals. It lasted for about two or three weeks. It did, however, fade after that. I bought this solely to use as an occasional low footstool that could be tucked away under the bed or a chair when not in use, and it fits the bill: no frills, small and inexpensive. Actually, it would make a perfect addition to a child's room. Deep enough to hide a few toys inside, fairly durable, easy to clean and low enough for a child to sit (or climb) upon; however, would not recommend an adult doing so. Don't expect a quality piece of furniture, but if not roughly used it should last for a while. NOTE: the pink color -which I ordered- is BRIGHT coral...definitely NOT pink. ... show more

This stool is awesome. I was worried that since it's collapsible it wouldn't hold up well, but it does. I needed a small stool to place in front of my rocking chair and this was just the right height! I also was pleased that the white "leather" matched the leather club chairs I already had in the room. When I'm not using the stool, I set it in between the two club chairs and it looks like it's always been there. I have not used it for storage, as it is relatively small for that. The only magazine I get is HGTV and they are too big to fit inside. As I only purchased this for a foot stool, it serves it's purpose for me and my feet!
