This item is great and a great value. However, there is an important and significant weakness. Do NOT try to pull off any of the connectors on the rear of the switches they will break off destroying the switch. This is a populated three rocker position (plus PD and 5v USBs) heavy-duty aluminum box and bracket. I would have preferred a plastic box, as my application doesn’t need (or want) all that stiffness, but I did need it to be compact and waterproof. There are mounting holes for the bracket and holes for wires. That’s great, but there are no seals or glands to protect the box from water ingress. Which is bizarre. There’s not even a gasket around the front and back cover. I truly don’t understand why they left those out and definitely think it prevents this from being called “waterproof” in any sense of the word. I don’t think it even qualifies as splash resistant or dust resistant! The positive things I can say: - it’s a polished design, with excellent fit and finish. The edges are all smooth and contoured and the counter-sunk screw holes and cover to case are a perfect fit. The matte black finish is very attractive and professional-looking. Those many things are not simple to accomplish and they did a great job. - The included bracket is nice and works well. - Rocker switches are included and fit perfectly. - The third position has a PD plus 5v USB C and A ports. That’s extremely useful. I don’t like that the display is always on (sucking down battery power, unless you use one of the switches for it) and that it shows input Voltage instead of output Wattage, but that’s a nitpick. All in all, I’m glad I bought this because it’s the most compact three switch box I could find and it has a charger included. I actually swapped out the two rockers and replaced them with two more chargers of the same type so I can power/charge six devices at once. To make it somewhat waterproof I had to use sealant on unused holes plus added gaskets for the wire penetrations. Anyone trying to use this in a humid location will have to do this. For my particular application, I wish it were just strong plastic and most helpfully, that there were gaskets, seals and glands. But this is quite compact and does the job once you caulk it yourself. ... show more
