It has a place for you to attach a tripod, and it can be left on the back porch, viewing your land for you. With the Wi-Fi connection you can see what it sees, at any time. These googles are comparable to others within the same price range. They offer 4k video recording and have NV quality similar to Gen 1 milspec. A good IR illuminating light will extend the range significantly as with any NV device.

This is my first night vision goggles and I am pleasantly surprised with the build quality and functionally of this product Like I said I do not have any experience with night vision goggles but they do everything I need for them to do, I am able to see quite clearly within 50 yds or so objects such as ppl, which I would not have known were there except for with these goggles I could clearly see. I got these for safety concerns while out at night, it adds an additional layer of protection while out camping and other unknown places. I am sure there are better goggles out there but for my uses these are good enough for me. ... show more

This unit is SUPER light, good for carrying, but feels cheap, don't drop it, is cheap plastic This is no a Binocular, looks like one, but one side is the imager the other is a IR lens This is basically the guts of a new security camera placed in a item that looks like a binocular This is NOT true 4K, this is a smaller sensor interpolated to 4K, you can see the resolution Digital zoom, yeah, is usable at best NO AUTO FOCUS, yeah, that is the killer miss of this unit, every time you change subjects, you MUST focus, due to the small sensor and interpolation, as soon as you see the pictures in a larger screen, yeah, they will be soft if you miss by a bit. Once you focus, you can see pretty good, the color night time, is very good at the regular 10X (no digital zoom) once you use the IR it turns B/W (hence why i think this is a security camera parts) and you can easily see inside a dark garage Overall, is a bit overpriced for what it is, is NOT a binocular...and have no Auto Focus, but if you can get it about 15-20% cheaper, is a good item ... show more

I didn't hyave real high expectations. It does atually work though. It can be a little "fiddly" to get the focus right as you have to adjust it at each distance you are looking, but you can see quite a bit further than you would think. I haven't tried using the recording part of it yet but have no reason to think it doesn't work. Overall I am pretty happy with it. It's not a professional military grade unit, but you aren't paying for that. If you want something to look around and play with this definitely fits the bill. For a wuick scan of a field to see if there are pigs, this will do it. ... show more

These night vision goggles by huilibao are decent. In pitch black you can see clear as day. The button layout takes a little to get used to but once you work with a little it's easy. The body itself is made of a durable plastic. The only gripes I had is there should be a soft lining around the view screen. It's a hard plastic as well. The other thing is that whenever you turn it on it resets to video mode. It would be nice if it remembered your setting. If I turn it off in camera mode it should turn on in camera mode, not in video. The last thing is it shows a charging light on the side but it's always solid red. It doesn't change colors like to green to show its charged. But if you disconnect the power and turn it on there is a power display in the lower right of the screen. Other than that these are very nice night vision goggles. They are a little on the expensive side for the features, there are some with more features for less, but these are good. It comes with everything you need minus the tripod you see in my photos. It has a hard case a cover bag, neck strap, cleaning cloth, usb-c charging cable, and a usb-a micro sd reader for the already installed 64gig micro sd memory card. They will be great for those night time stake outs or night time search and rescues. Or just enjoying nature. ... show more
