The curtains are a nice thick fabric, super soft and true to color. The length was as noted and they are easy to put up. The light-blocking is pretty good too, though maybe I need to adjust them so it can’t get around the sides of the window. Would definitely recommend these!

This is the second pair of curtains from this company we bought this link for my daughter's room but in our master bedroom we have the longer length also in white with the Black backing it makes them function very well at blocking out light. We got them at a great price I think it was for one of the sales the length is correct I stated on the website it does help block out this summer heat you can feel the heat on the inside of the curtain between the curtain and the window but inside the room it's a different temperature. They're super easy to hang and clean you can run them in the washing machine so they're very durable. They come in many different lengths. ... show more

    • Best Blackout Curtains Ever - Especially for Kids or Houses that Need Extra Insulation

These are great blackout curtains. I live in a house built in 1930 with original (1 pane) windows in Oklahoma (very hot summers and occasional very cold fronts in winter). I also have 2 small kids who sleep better in absolute dark. So, I bought a set of these curtains back in 2019 for one kid. We were delighted with how heavy and thick they were. Then I bought more in 2022 for another room because we realized that we needed that extra insulation/protection from the heat. And then I bought some more just another month ago in 2024 for the other kid. I'm about to buy even more to finish out the rooms that could use curtains. The curtains keep the rooms extra dark, except at the tops where some light peeks through. This isn't an issue unless you have a newborn who will wake up at the slightest light. In which case, put some extra blankets across the tops. The curtains also help keep the temperatures down in summer and up in winter. When we put the curtains up in a room that had big windows on all sides in summer 2022, you could literally feel the temperature drop the moment the curtains were up. One thing that I wish I had realized at the beginning (new mom brain so I wasn't paying close attention) is that the curtains come in different widths and heights. So, make sure to measure the size you want. The curtains also have some wrinkles around the creases when you open them that are nearly impossible to get rid of, but that's not a dealbreaker for me at all. I must say I like these panels very much. I did a before and after and actually it’s even darker than it shows from the pics. So it really blocks the sunlight very well. The cooling of the room is something I can feel when I walk into my bedroom now. At least 5° lower with the sun blazing into the room. The heat doesn’t meet me at the door so to speak anymore. So it made my room much more tolerable to be in with only a fan blowing if I wanted. I did purchase another set for my dining room because they really work. I have bought blackout curtains before that worked but these are fantastic. I use them to cover a door that leads outside in my master bedroom. This blocks all the light but also blocks the heat from coming in. The door is on the side where the sun rises and it can make for a very hot bedroom. They are thick, and I would buy them again. Also very well made and better than the ones you buy in store. We went with the color navy that has the black on the inside matches very well.
