I couldn't be happier with this purchase! I had this on my wish list for some time now, and I finally decided to bite the bullet and just make the purchase. When it first got here, of course like anyone I was excited about it and I couldn't wait to test it out. Unfortunately, it was late at night and I needed sleep so I waited till the next morning. First thing in the morning I grabbed myself my cup of coffee and I started cleaning my brushes. The brush machine requires AAA batteries. 2 to be exact. It does not come with the batteries which is fine with me. It can used for multiple tips for different sized brushes and that's what I liked. I started using it right away and noticed immediately the makeup coming right off of my brushes. This is usually a very tedious project for me whenever I do this manually and it takes a while for me to do so. I am very happy with this purchase because it cut down my time significantly. Usually when I'm cleaning my brushes, it could take me up to 30 minutes to an hour if I'm doing the deep clean, but this did the job 10-15 minutes flat which is so appreciative. Now, I'm in the market for beauty blender cleaner because of this. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and I recommend this as a gift, something just for yourself, for Mom, Sister, makeup artist, anyone who is interested in having clean brushes to use on their face for their makeup applications. I had kept buying brushes for a while instead of cleaning them because I was always on the go and I hate cleaning brushes by hand. I have about 50 brushes and I washed them all once changing the cleaner about 4 times and then used clear water to test 3 of my favorite brushes and they were good and clean. It also drys them very well and they are ready to use the next morning. Batteries held up through the 50 plus the 10 the next week. Work’s totally fine for brushes with thinner hairs (highlight or eye brushes). It did not work well for my foundation or buffer type brushes, it didn’t make it clean at all. If anything, if the base was able to fit the tube attachments, it helped them dry faster. However, a dirty brush is defeats the purpose of this tool. ... show more
