These were purchased for my grandson to wear on the concrete pad and decking around our pool. They’re a cute design and brightly colored, & they fit him nicely — for now. These “aquatic shoes” can be worn IN the pool but our little guy is not a fan of that feature. Most importantly, these do their job in helping to prevent him from slipping on the wet surfaces around the pool. Perhaps the only downside to them is that it takes them a long time to dry and they’re difficult to put on his feet when they’re still wet. Finally!! Last year I ordered and returned 3 different pairs. These are keepers!! Excellent traction on the bottom, very easy to get on and off with my daughter’s wide feet, and they fit perfectly. Order their current size and you should be fine. Love these!! Update: another summer is here and she outgrew her pair from last year. They are in such great shape that I will be passing them down to her little friend. These are absolutely adorable, still have excellent non slip soles, and are very well made.     • Perfect summer shoes
I have zero complaints about these shoes except that I wish they came in different styles/colors. My kid lived in these shoes last summer. They're great for just walking around, playing at the playground, etc. because they don't let all the wood chips and rocks inside. They're light and flexible, which is terrific for developing foot strength and balance. Unlike other water shoes we've tried, there's a real tread on the bottom, pretty decent for climbing around, and the tread didn't get worn down after a couple wears like those others. Because they're water shoes, of course they wash well and dry quickly, which is great for stinky feet! They were durable for us; the liner on the inside eventually came loose and we had to take it out, but they were still wearable. Overall, I'm really pleased. ... show more

    • Perfect for creek, snug but otherwise fine
Slightly snug otherwise wonderful shoes for going in the creek, wading pool, and running in the grass under the sprinkler. Very solid bottom and toe base, easy closure with Velcro, and easy to get on a chubby foot. My son is almost 2 and isn't great at catching himself when he loses his balance or slips on rocks/wet patches, so barefoot was not working well once summer really heated up. I wanted shoes with a solid bottom and closed toes for the creek and these are PERFECT for that. I love that the only openings are on top rather than near the toes (like our other name brand water shoes) so no pebbles or something excess sand during creek play! They're also wonderful for all our other water based activities, even the water table on the deck. I was worried because my son has fairly chubby feet- he not only didn't complain about these shoes but the redness that accompanies the snugness actually seems to be from the shoes being a little smaller than expected rather than from his foot being too fat. He wears a 6 and his toes are right at the front so I'm actually on here purchasing the next size up in hopes that our problems are solved by the size up. His other shoes are all still fine and comfy so I'm under the impression that these are a bit small to prevent slipping within the shoes. A great concept for the creek but not necessary for our deck or yard, so I'll rotate through both sizes depending on what we are doing and see if it works better that way. I cleaned the sand out of these in the sink and let them on the porch to dry for a few hours. I'd definitely recommend these for beach going or other outdoor water environments. ... show more

Perfect sturdy little shoe for the pool, or the beach. I bought these for our beach vacation, but my daughter ended up wearing them in her pool at home. They are great when transitioning from water, to grass, or a deck, bc they have excellent traction. They fit perfectly, and are snug in all the right spots. Highly recommend these shoes. They are adorable and sturdy. *****UPDATE after a few more wears The shoes are holding up. I only have 1 small issue, and that’s the fact the rub the outer sides of my daughters feet when worn for more than 30 mins. The redness goes away after a short period, but these definitely wouldn’t be good to wear for more than an hour while playing on multiple surfaces. ... show more

Best summer shoes for a little boy ever!!! These are cute, comfortable, lightweight and durable. My toddler is a puddle jumper and these are the best!!!! They fit so well and he loved them as much as I did. These are wonderful water shoes that have thick soles so they can be worn as regular shoes as well as in the water. ... show more

My son is 1 and somewhere between size 4 and 5. The top straps of these worked great to adjust for his smaller foot while still giving him plenty of room for his toes. They do not slip on his feet when wet.
