Wow, just wow! I have purchased Neewer products in the past. While their lights have always been great, the stands typically were unstable and junk to be honest. However this stand is sturdy, and well built. I’m very impressed. The lights themselves are beautiful. Even at 30% they are bright enough for most situations you would need them for. The case is nice, but I would recommend keeping all styrofoam that comes inside of it. I initially thought it was garbage then realized that’s what keeps everything separated. ... show more

The lights worked out great. I was little hesitant on the brightness of the light but they were great. The stands are made of a little thicker tubing than some of the cheap black stands that come with other economical light kits. The app works well and really brings out the functionality of the light. The draw back is that the light has a weird connection to the light stand and doesn’t allow for vertical or a swivel position. That’s not to say you could get an attachment of sorts to convert the unit to do that but not sure how the plastic connector can take the vertical stress as it wasn’t designed for that position. ... show more

I'm thoroughly pleased with this product. It comes in a nice travel case, was very reasonably priced, and works like a champ. I originally bought it to light paintings I photograph for other artists as a quicker, more effective setup than what I had been doing. Once I established it worked well for that, I started experimenting with what else I can do with it. It does allow me to take portraits of people if I don't depend on it for all the lighting, since it's too bright to use that was as a continuous light, but as a supplementary light it's great to be able to use continuous light instead of flash. Their lightweight with an amazing carrying case, and they take batteries along with electricity. Just a note, when you buy the batteries, get the biggest Batteries that you can find for that style.
