I was actually surprised to get a dean koontz book, was a tad better of a box than I expected.Coffee was average but still delicious. This would make and awesome gift.

I love receiving this box but…

The coffee is wonderful and I have begun also purchasing my favorites online. About the books- I deleted one star for curation of titles. At one point I subscribed to both fiction and mystery boxes and received the same nonfiction book in each box. Fortunately one made a great gift for a friend but I

I got this subscription for my mom, who's a fan of both books and coffee. First box was fine -- two interesting looking books, and a bag of ok coffee. Second month, she got sent a box of children's books instead of the Coffee & Book box. I complained and was refunded, and then they sent the proper bo
x later. But when we opened that, the bag of coffee had been ripped, and the beans were everywhere, just loose in the box. Cancelled immediately.

Good coffee. Some fun books but poor curation.

1st box: I’ve received one book so far. In the order I got a sucker and a copy of a book called devoured and one called vampires. Devoured was a fun book and I enjoyed the twist and turns. (Devoured is the second book in a series) The vampire book on the other hand is a collection of vampire stories
that can all be found online for free. The stories are supposed to be a collection of the earliest vampire short stories. All those stories in the book free online. The book included brief introductions of each story but nothing to justify the price of the book. Also the same vampire book was included in my order of Thrill club this month. Now I have two copies of the book. This feels like very lazy curation. I enjoyed the coffee. Looking forward to what in next months book. But if I get another book with only content that can be found free online I’ll be canceling the order. 2nd box: the box included the books: Aliens:bughunt and The Brink by James s Murray. The brink is a sequel in a series. I find it a bit weird to get a book in the middle of a longer story. Coffee was from the mahalo roasters. Same brand, but a different flavor from the 1st box. The first and second box include books that are the second book in a series of books. None if the horror examples for books on the website include sequels. Why not send out the first book in a series???

I never would have picked either book, but I thoroughly enjoyed them both. The coffee was too mild for my taste but certainly drinkable. Coffee is too strong it made me and my family nervous and sick, I love one of the book even though the contents is interesting, but the title of the book needs a better title to not freak out people, the book "criminal magic."

One of the books in the box had a stamp from 2016 from a public library. This box is a ridiculous joke and a big waste of money.

This is a terrible box. The books are 10 years old and the coffee every month is the same brand and when u try to cancel the subscription they ignore it and send u another one anyways and charge u if there was anything less then 1 star i would give it because it is terrible
