I will never use a manually brakes again. Hydraulic brakes is the way to go. The stopping effort is effortless and stops amazingly. Has a brake switch on the level as well to hook up a brake light. Highly recommend and was a perfect bolt on for my doodlebug db30. Thxs A++++++

    • Complete garbage.
This brake will brake the first time you pull the brake. The housing casting cracks at the corner instantly. The housing can not handle the pressure the piston applies. The first one I got was cracked when I got it, the replacement looked like the casting has a flaw right in the spot that takes all the forces needed for this to work and after spending an hour getting a bracket made to mount it and getting the spacing perfect just to have the brake crack the first time I applied the brake just to test it. Complete flaw in design, do not buy this it will brake not in the way you want... ... show more

Used this on my monster moto minibike, I upgraded the motor and needed more stopping power, had to modify the brake bracket though.

Definitely a good upgrade incomparable to cable pull brakes ( the Original ) have to be able to modify the stock caliper brakes or fabricate a new one If you can do that you will be happy with the stopping abilities

I put this on an electric minibike that I built. The mechanical brake that was on it could not hold up to 45 MPH speeds I've been doing. I've had no brakes for a while. I put this on and went the extreme opposite. Now instead of no brakes, I can easily lock up the wheel. Now I just need to learn to be very gentile on the brakes. My only complaint is that the lever is a couple inches too long for a minibike., but still works OK. ... show more

Do not buy. I went to race and on the first lap the brake caliper broke in two and my day was done. It was a very short track we were only going 5-10mph. I wiped out on the turn because I had no brake. Junk
