It's a night-and-day difference compared to my old PSU, and it keeps my setup nice and quiet. Full Modular Design: The full modular design is a game-changer for cable management. • Works great and looks great
Size: 850W Style: MPG A850G PCIE5
Why do I say it looks great, you might ask? Well, because it is modular. I only need to have the cables I need and I don't have to hide all the excess. That makes this a great PSU for any clean build.

  • Compact & Quiet
Size: 850W Style: MPG A850G PCIE5
I got this for the new 4090 I got. It runs really quiet and there's a neat switch to turn off the fan completely. It also has a 12 pin connector. The compact size makes it easier to do cable management as well.

  • Excellent PSU with modern connections
Size: 850W Style: MPG A850G PCIE5
These power supplies are top notch and a great upgrade over my old semi modular set up. The single gpu graphics connection 12v2x6 makes things easy and for a clean set up, if you decide to use it. 850 watts is perfect for my 7800xt gpu and ryzen 7 7700x . The modular flat cables def help with keeping things clutter free. Power supply stays cool and silent with a 0 rpm mode which can be turned off. The overall size of the unit itself is very compact and light weight compared to some others units. There no rub or lights on this unit , but does have a very sleek silver MPG design on the side. Looks cool in the case. Great purchase. ... show more

  • Great PSU
Size: 850W Style: MPG A850G PCIE5
If you are courting a system with overclocked DDR5 and 200-225 watt video card, you'll love this PSU. A few days later I bought an "A850GL" and it got confusing to me how the models are different (A850GL vs A850G). MSI doesn’t do a very good job of explaining the two units, I think it has to do with capacitor construction or sourcing internal components. In any case, these are 80 plus gold and rated single rail. Use only the cables you need with modular cables, but know there is an 12VHPWR plug so you don't need the splitter adapter in the Nidia box! The cable can draw up to 600 watts (don't do it tho ). It directly plugs into the card with a yellow plastic male pins. This is so you know if yellow is showing you need to press harder. The fan is quiet and no problems. ... show more

  • Overall excellent except the some of the cables
Size: 850W Style: MPG A850G PCIE5
This was a great value and in my tests had very stable power. I love the fact that you can switch the fan to only turn on when it is under heavy load. That's a huge plus for me. The motherboard cable is very oddly designed. I had to twist around the two plugs that go to the PSU because the 8 pin connector is on the wrong side. It seemed like it didn't go to this power supply. There is a bit of a lack of options with the cables provided in general although I was able to do everything I needed. The 12+4 connector is great though. It's way less bulky than the one I was using before this, so I'm happy about that. Overall I would recommend this for the money. ... show more

  • 600w atx cables are very nice with added yellow to have peace of mind knowing its plugged in fully
Size: 1000W Style: MPG A1000G PCIE5
Had a Corsair 850 bronze before this and it was the minimum requirement for the 3090 TI Suprim. It worked very well for about a year then i slightly overclocked the cpu outside of the easy bios overclock and it just wasn't enough. Thankfully it was a good Corsair PSU so it just turned off power to the whole system instead of frying my rig. Put this beautiful PSU in and everything is working like a dream it all even feels a bit snappier even if its just a placebo. The old PSU is now powering a separate rig with much lower power draws. I'm only a few weeks into having this but so far so good. Will try to update if anything changes or just after i've long term tested it but so far i'm very pleased. ... show more
