i’ve had a few umbrellas destroyed by philly winds and this one it’s the only one that has survived. so glad they had a pink option. the only thing i don’t like is that it’s very hard to close the umbrella after use. like i have to push it down on the ground to get the handle to retract all the way. almost hurt my wrist when i first tried to push the handle back in. it’s pretty annoying when i’m in public and have to avoid hitting people with my umbrella but i’ll get used to it ... show more

Update: a day after I reported the issue on one of the ribs that broke down, the vendor immediately acknowledged the issue and addressed the issue. Appreciate their prompt action in addressing the quality. Original: I bought this last Sept 2022. Since then, I only used this 4-5 times including today (Jan 19). When I held the umbrella, the bottom of my hand extended over 1/2" beyond the edge of the handle. This made it awkward to hold. After 10 minutes, it felt like the edge of the handle was digging into my hand. The hanging loop is on the side of the handle instead of the bottom, making it even more difficult to hold. Also the umbrella was very difficult to close. I had to hold onto the handle with one hand and push down hard on the top of the umbrella with the other hand to get it to close.
