By far one of my favorite backpacking meals out there! After a long hike it's easy to make, and unlike a lot of these meals, I really look forward to opening this one, it doesn't taste like a reheated meal nearly at all. Lots of protein and calories! Mountain House really did well with this one!

Mountain House claims these little 4 or 5oz pouches are 2 serving meals. They've probably come up with some rationale to justify this claim. But it's simply wrong. If someone on a remote outing were depending on these little meals for sustenance, especially if they were hiking, they could get in trouble. A little 4 or 5oz pouch might get one person by that's not being physically active. One pouch certainly does not have 2 servings. ... show more
