This Moissanite necklace from E-EMERMAKING is absolutely stunning! I got this to go with my pair of Moissanite earrings, and it coordinates perfectly. Moissanite stones are from meteors, so I jokingly call these my pieces of stars. I prefer these to diamonds because not only are they more affordable, you do not have to be concerned about by what method the stones were obtained. The gemstone is bright and clear, as you can see in the picture. The cut includes many facets, so it sparkles divinely in every light. The smaller stones surrounding it are just as clear, matching the large stone well. The chain is delicate, but not fragile. It is around 20". The lobster claw clasp is easy to open and close, even with arthritic hands. This is a necklace I can put on myself. At just under $100 US, this isn't cheap, but also is not expensive for jewelry. A diamond of this size, color, and clarity would be unaffordable. The maker has also included a card and paperwork to certify its authenticity, color, and grade. The necklace and pendant come in a lovely box fit for gifting. Though they are sealed in a small bag to ensure that everything stays clean and beautiful. The necklace itself is a great size, the center stone and the pendant itself. It’s very classic looking so will not go out of style. It is very shiny and bright - really excellent looking quality! Item came as described. Metal is 18k white gold over sterling silver. This makes for a long life and reduces tarnishing. With proper care will last a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and weight of this piece. It is beautiful and picks up the light beautifully. Moissanite stones are a great value alternative to diamonds. For the quality and look of this piece, I'd say it is in line for price with items in this category. Would make a great gift. ... show more

    • Moissanites are excellent, don't love the yellow gold color
If you get this in the white gold version, I suspect you'll love it. The moissanites all tested just fine on thermo, and I mean ALL of them. Sometimes you'll see one nice center moissanite surrounded by a bunch of mystery stones (that are absolutely not moissanite but I can't tell you what they are for sure), but ALL of the stones here are actual moissanite, verified by physical properties on a thermo tester. The pendant and chain are both stamped 925, and nothing reacts to a magnet other than the clasp, which is normal and expected since the inner spring there should not be made of sterling. My main complaint here is the color of the yellow gold plate. It's too yellowy orange for my taste. That is at least to some degree cultural, so others may prefer the more vivid hue. I do not, and I don't think it mimics real solid gold as well as a lighter colored plate. That yellow orange is super common in plate, and for that reason I tend to go with white gold plating (or no plate, when possible), but I took a chance here because it looked good in the photos. This necklace is a big WOW! The moissanite sparkles and is mesmerizing. Truly a unique statement piece. You feel Oh so Elegant when you wear it. Beautiful quality and my wife does look forward to wearing it as often as possible. This would make an excellent gift. It comes in a nice box with the grading card, so you know what you have regarding color and clarity. Very much worth the price! This stands out and elevates any outfit. This piece can be worn to work or out for the night. Has delicate diamond detail around the large center. The center is very shiny and eye catching. Claw clasp closure and larger holes to allow you to easily put it on and allow you to make it longer or shorter depending on wear you want the piece to sit. It comes in a pretty blue box with no labels, which can make for a nice gifting box. The chain is a little basic which both ways; it doesn’t distract from the centerpiece but it doesn’t look as nice as the centerpiece. The chain is thin but more delicate than flimsy.
