  • A great design for anyone under 5'8"
Color: Green Size: 106" x 55”
This hammock is well thought out and uses durable materials. The bug net braces are a great addition, giving the user a feeling of openness inside the hammock. Each one also holds up the portion of the netting that has a hook for hanging small things inside. This would be perfect for a micro-lantern. There is a single pocket inside the hammock, stitched into the edge opposite the zipper, about midway. Easily accessible regardless of which way you choose to put your head, and large enough to hold any phone and small pocket items. The only thing I would caution on is for taller folks, they may want to consider a longer hammock. I'm 5'11", and I found myself with my feet riding up into the gathered section quite a few times. I'm also a side sleeper, and as I found out, side sleepers need an even longer hammock to get a proper lie, and not be bent up in a u-shape. Still, I did manage to fall asleep in this hammock on my back. I would recommend some form of small pillow or stuff sack to go under the knees to keep them slightly bent and supported. Otherwise you'll wake up with hyperextended knees and quite a bit of discomfort. Shorter folks may not experience this to the same degree, and if you sleep curled up in a ball, you won't notice it at all. I do encourage use of the tie-out points just to keep the net from tipping while not in it, as the bug net bars make it top heavy and it will flip with no weight. This can lead to twisting of the straps, and you don't want that. A loosely tied out guy line is sufficient to prevent this. The extra whole on the bug net bracket is specifically for this reason. Nice design choice there. ... show more

  • Great sturdy hammock
Color: Green Size: 106" x 55”
I'm getting back into camping and decided I'd try a hammock instead of a tent. Setup is really easy and the carabiners that come with it are way bigger and stronger than needed. I may swap them out for smaller 8kn carabiners or soft shackles. When inserting the poles, I recommend putting something in the hammock, or use guylines, to keep it from turning upside down. A couple things I like about it is that I can flip it over and use it without the bug net or, if there aren't any trees, I can stake it on the ground and still have a bug net. The stuff sack is just big enough to hold the hammock and slings. If you add whoopee slings, I'm not sure they'd easily fit. The zipper on the bug net is really long, making it easy to get in and out. All in all, I'm really happy with it. It's lightweight and yet sturdy. ... show more

  • High quality and ease of setup is top-notch
Color: Black Size: 106" x 55”
I'm already getting great use out of this hammock tent. So much easier to set up and carry than a tent. I've taken this on a few hiking trips on the Appalachian Trail and the light weight backing on this hammock tent over a traditional tent was so much lighter as my back greatly appreciated it. I’ve even used this on a surf trip to Costa Rica where we spent 10 days on motorcross and surfing breaks along the western coastline near Jaco. String this between a couple of palm trees on the beach and you are sleeping free in Costa Rica. The straps are of high quality and ease of adjustment is top-notch, so set-up takes virtually no time. I really like how the netting poles keep the whole hammock to feel like sleeping inside of a cocoon. Very cozy as the breeze comes in nicely during the hotter months. The netting doesn't touch me if I'm lying down to sleep, and I do appreciate not having to pack a separate bug net. Overall, a solid, lightweight, affordable alternative to lugging around chairs and a wall tent. This is a definitely a potential replacement for a tent on warm nights. Would highly recommend this particular hammock tent. I’ve slept many night very comfortable in this hammock tent even with my hiking pack down by my feet. ... show more

  • Works well
Color: Black Size: 118” x 71”
This is perfect for my needs as someone who hikes long multiple day trails. I need something lightweight, easy to setup/takedown and of course repels water and insects. This fits the bill nicely. It’s much lighter than I expected and sets up quick and easy. I carry a small tarp as a rainfly and it works nicely without adding much weight. Setup took me longer the first time till I figured it out now it’s very easy. It seems like it’s made from quality material but if it does rip or fail in any way I will update this review ... show more

  • VERY nice!
Color: Green Size: 118” x 71”
This is a really heavy-duty hammock! The description says it's made to last a lifetime....and I see that. I got the double hammock for two, and it's huge. The fabric is strong nylon parachute fabric...and the netting isn't gonna let ANYTHING in....except fresh air and sunshine. The netting is dense enough to give a tiny bit of shade too. The netting is sewn directly to the hammock, so seriously....nothing can slither, climb or fly in. I like this!! The zipper is heavy duty. The poles for the netting are steel, and slightly bent in a curve, so when I ran it through the loops, it made a perfect arch and doesn't put a bind on the stitching or fabric. It all lays flat until you get it tied off to trees, and then the netting pops up .... there's no way it's coming down until I'm ready for it to. There's tie off tabs on each side of the hammock, so I can stake it to the ground to keep it from tipping over. It's there as an option if you want it, but you provide the stakes and rope. I'm ok with that. The looped, nylon straps are super heavy duty.....and the loops are SO convenient. The kit comes with two carbiners to "tie" off the straps around the tree. It doesn't get easier than that. Great quality, and totally comfy hammock!!! ... show more

  • Haven't used it camping yet, but love it so far
Color: Green Size: 118” x 71”
It's easy to set up, if you have some kind of stand, or two trees close enough together. I can sleep in it comfortably, but I'm only 5'5". My husband is six foot and can get into it fine, for relaxation but wasn't sure he'd be able to actually sleep comfortably in it.
