I have a trip to Italy coming up next month and I purchased this bag to use as a personal item. For some airlines that require smaller sizes, it could be a little tricky. However, I’m not planning on stuffing this bag to the gills, so there’s some give which should make it work just fine. The bottom shoe compartment was what really sold me on this bag. Shoes can be so awkward and hard to pack. I wear a women’s size 9, so I don’t have the most petite feet. I also need shoes that offer good arch support. So cute little flat sandals are out. Booooo! I love the way that the interior of the bag was designed. There will be times where I will need to travel with my laptop or an iPad (or both) and needed something that could also accommodate those. I like how easy it is to keep everything more organized with the pockets. I love how it opens from the top and is easy to find items without digging into a deep hole. But I also like that I can open it without worrying whether the contents of my bag are going to spill out. I purchased the black bag because I know that there’s no way that I’d be able to keep the light color bags clean. Plus, I feel that black is more classy while beige/pink is more trendy. I love how easy it is to slide the bag onto my carryon handle without wrestling with it. I have a Biaggi backpack that is so hard to put on and take off in comparison! I purchased a popular backpack off Amazon but really hated their shoe compartment solution and the orientation of how it unzipped. I hadn’t even considered a bag like this until I had a better idea of what I liked and didn’t like about those other bags. I’d seen plenty of Beis ads and never paid any kind to them because they screamed “Boss Babe” which is cringy. Also the price. I know it has some added benefits like the detachable shoe compartment. But I just couldn’t justify the “Boss Babe” price. My husband is already mad at all the other Amazon deliveries for travel “must haves”! LOL In any case, I will try to update my review after my Italy trip to share how it holds up & any pros/cons I discover. I find many reviews are somewhat unreliable until they’ve had some wear & tear. Hopefully this review helps others who have been on the fence, like me. Also, I have measurements showing “full capacity” as well as some sort of “squished” to show how it could work for some of those smaller sizes. This is the affordable version and a great “dupe” alternative to the Beis weekender . Used for a few trips this summer and it’s durable and fit under the seat which was great bc I’m definitely an overpacker so it was filled to capacity.

"This is the best travel bag I've ever owned. Let's start with the inside pockets that allow you to separate your belongings by type, such as toiletries (with a handy bag included), laptop sleeve, and the extra compartment at the bottom for shoes is honestly revolutionary. It's also very comfortable to carry around. I took it to NY and it went with me on the subway, in Ubers, and even for someone with back problems, I was comfortable the whole time. This is so worth the price. I used it during my trip in France for a month and it was great. It really is great quality for the price, is it perfect? No. The straps can feel heavy if there’s too much in there (but most bags would tbh) and the bottom zipper is a tiny bit out diagonal on one side, BUT it functions like a dream, looks cute, and I used it for a month and never had a problem. Update: I was unable to reach them directly as I kept getting directed to amazons customer service but they contacted me! That says a lot about customer service. They read my review saw that I was unhappy and offered a full refund as easy as that! So thankfully while my product didn’t work out for me, have no fear you have a company that is receptive and wants you as a customer. So let me tell you that you better have trips ready to go to see if this is going to work for you because you only have a small 30 day return window. Unfortunately for me my trips were spaced out so now less than 2 months I have a useless bag. At first I thought it was super cute and perfect for my small trips but now my zipper is broken and it’s unusable. I guess you get what you pay for but if you’re looking for durability might look elsewhere. Or maybe it was just my bag. Other seems to like it but sucks for me! I used it for the first time for a trip to Vegas. I was able to fit low-top boots and 2 pairs of sandals in the bottom compartment. It has a place for a laptop if you need it, otherwise great for other items. Easy to carry and slide onto my carry-on. Sturdy material.
