Out of the box good! For the price of 100 dollars I didn't expect much, it was shipped in its own box, so box got damaged but dear not as this thing didn't skip a beat. The software is generic means it's just a pkugin for chitbox which is standard. It was a simple slice and print setup, although usb is the only way to move files. The menu on it is basic but works and the machine prints on part with my other mono printers. This one is great for kids resin printing! I like my Nova a little more due to the wifi printing, but that's really the only thing this one is missing!! ... show more

I was excited to get this as it’s my first resin printer, but shortly after leveling the bed I realized something was wrong. Even after tightening the build plate, it moved free. This meant as it was trying to print on the plate it would move, resulting in failed prints and wasted resin. I requested a replacement, which I received quickly. Got it all hooked up and the bed leveled perfectly and stayed solid when tightened. I was ready to get printing! When I went to plug in the usb it fell inside the control panel because the port wasn’t present. It was never attached to the unit itself. I was excited for this printer but when it got here it was so completely broken that I couldn't do anything with it . The internals like the main board and led array were busted off the plastic mounts and lose in the machine

As you can see in the photos, the plastic piece that connect the build plate to the screw mount cracked. This occurred during normal use. I never over tightened the screw, or at least didn’t think I did. After viewing other reviews on YouTube about several aspects of the printer being a weak point because of their choice for plastic parts in certain locations, I felt like I was babying it since I got it. I bought this printer just over a month ago and have gotten some very nice prints on it. No complaints with the print quality this printer is capable of. After reaching out to Mingda directly, their solution is to send the part out for free which is listed for $47 through their website, though they want me to pay them $25 for shipping. I also knew going into it that they don’t have traditional FEP replacements where you can just unscrew and screw on a new one, you’d have to buy them directly from Mingda for $20 each. So depending on your care of your FEP, this printer may not last you long based on other factors. I’ve only had mine for a month and my FEP is perfectly fine. I don’t like that I could have a ‘high quality’ printer for almost a month exactly and have it break the way it did, and that the solution from the manufacturer is to pay 1\4 the total cost of the printer to get it replaced…just so possibly the same thing can happen again. Unless they send it out for free I will probably try to mode a replacement part myself and do a 100% infill PLA print of it, since either way it probably won’t last me through the lifetime of this printer. I didn't buy this printer off amazon. I bought it off their website. I didn't see a place to review there so i came here. i got this printer on a coin flip. either i was going to score big or lose the hundred fifty i spent (do to sell they had at the time). I'm honestly very impressed. it came fast, it was easy to set up, easy to level, easy to understand. fallow the instruction book word for word. look at the little details it tells you. it made this set up so easy. prints fast and clean, very detailed work, quiet. love the touch screen for it. love the easy to understand setup. only down side, it uses chitubox and the printer isn't upgraded to latest update on chitubox. however, in the thumb drive they send with the printer, there is a version of chitubox that it is compatible with. normally this would drop its rating, but the rest of the printer blew me away so much it well earned it back. also, their website does have all copies of the instruction book and their latest update incase you loose it or something happens. well worth the money spent. ... show more

Great easy to use printer. Just a few things to mention. At this time if you update the slicing software the machine can’t use the files. There needs to be a firmware/software update. They also do t tell you that you will need a UV light curing box. Not a big deal but plan to spend an additional $100-150 for supplies and equipment to get started. The prints come out with amazing detail. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve but it is fun to play around with. ... show more
