This toothbrush is SO much easier to use than the last one I had gotten for my cat. Her old one was more of a mini human toothbrush, same shape just super small. It was still too big for her tiny mouth and teeth- I couldn’t see each tooth as I was brushing it and I had to pull her gums back pretty far just to get in there with the brush. This brush is a perfect size- when it arrived it seemed TINY but cat teeth are tiny too! The shape is so much better since I can actually see the tooth and gums as I’m brushing them, and I don’t have to pull back her gums as far to get in there with the brush. 10/10 ... show more

    • Easy to Use-- particularly for feisty kittens
I had a hard time finding the right toothbrush for my kittens who are teething, have bad breath, and are just grumpy. This is the only "cat" toothbrush that they would allow me to give them a real "brush." It was very effective in getting off the tartar. When I first used it, I see blood on a few spots--I think it's from breaking the gum infection. Both kittens have much cleaner teeth and less stinky breath in a few days. They do not bleed anymore. However, because they still struggled to get out of my grip at times, I tried a different brush, designed for infants. Extra Super Soft Nano Toothbrush (https://www.amazon.com/Toothbrush-Toddlers-Children-Sensitive-functions/dp/B085BFBYD3/). With this nano toothbrush, they mellowed out and even fell half asleep. I think they enjoy the massage of their gum. I was just wondering if I should have one of my cat's baby tooth removed because it did not fall off when the permanent tooth erupted. Two days of gentle brushing with the nano toothbrush, the baby teeth fell off. (Before that, I have been using this micro head for a week, but the baby tooth remained unbudged.) Save me a big vet bill!! I am going to use the nano toothbrush for daily cleaning but will use this one for targeted cleaning (e.g., tartar). ... show more

    • Well designed and Appropriately Sized for a Cat’s Mouth
We love these little toothbrushes. We have used them for years. Cats generally don’t prefer having their teeth brushed but the smooth, round and tiny shape of this toothbrush allows it to fit comfortably into his tiny mouth and even reaches the further wisdom back teeth. It works wonderfully with our cat. He doesn’t seem to mind it. We also have used this brands’ claw clippers. They are well designed, very precise, have comfortable shears, are durable and well made. This cat toothbrush is incredibly small, making it easy to navigate into my cat's mouth. However, its size limits its ability to thoroughly scrub teeth. It's convenient for quick brushing but may not be the best for a deep clean.

The bristles are very soft for my elderly dog. She has had a lot of teeth extracted so I like that it's small but good enough to clean her teeth gently.
