I brought this to mount a snare drum microphone on a drum set at home. It is decent, and okay for the price. It is very light weight metal, with plastic connectors. So not the most durable thing in the world, but I am using this at home, not traveling, so is probably fine. And is cheaper than a beefy or stand I would otherwise get. IU do like that it has both a boom and a gooseneck, though I only need the gooseneck right now.     • Folds up into a very compact size that is easy to transport.
I inadvertently reported that I did not receive this item, but that was in error as I confused it with another order that I have not received yet. When I took this stand out of the box, I feared that it would be too flimsy to be up to the task, but after fully assembling it, I think that it will work out nicely. Mic stands tend to be heavy, clumsy, and can be a pain to transport to a gig, but this one is stronger than it looks and folds up into a very compact size that will be easy to pack and transport. It was easy to build and is sturdy. It holds my ipad and mic well without falling over. It’s also very easy to put away and store, which is great when you need to move the stand to different places. Great for musicians or fellow karaoke enthusiasts.
