The daybed arrived earlier than expected. It was very easy to assemble and I am 65 years old. It did come with a small dent but since I ordered the matte white it is barely noticeable. I'm very pleased.

Easy to put together. Says 2 people would take 30 minutes, but I did most of it by myself. My adult daughter helped start it off, but s She had to leave.Instructions were very easy. I first inventoried all the parts because some reviewers complained there were missing damaged, bent or chipped paint, but I had NO BAD issues. Everything was clockwork. It pays to read instructions all the way through at first. It’s pretty sturdy and DOES NOT SQUEAK, which was my BIG CONCERN! I’m very very pleased with this purchase. Got the bed put together except for last parts ... the large round ones that go on top of bedpost. My bed was ordered in bronze... unwrapped these last parts and to my horror discovered they were snow white! Thought no problem at first. Emailed the address on the directions in case of problems. Well the email address didn’t exist. Called Amazon customer service. Representative was very nice but honestly, it’s hard to get your problem across to people that’s first language is not English. Finally got them to understand my problem but they were unable to get just the replacement parts I needed. Now I am waiting for ANOTHER bed to be shipped then I have to take out the parts I need, seal it back up and send the replacement bed back to them. Seriously? The bed itself is fine. Seems to be sturdy but a product is only as good as it’s customer service. That’s why we have a 1 star here. ... show more

This frame takes 2 people to put together, but is well worth the effort and relatively easy to do. It arrived a little dirty on the edges like the box was on a dusty floor, but it cleaned up well. It is fairly light weight, but feels very sturdy. You don’t need to keep the box spring with this design, and it makes it super tall with it, but we decided we liked it that way. Ordered daybed in bronze but was sent black. It wasn't worth returning and reordering, so I kept the black. Turned out well, because the damaged paint doesn't show as much as it would in bronze. One of the balls that go on the corners had paint missing in spots, but since it was black I used a sharpie to fill it in. Overall you get what you pay for. I didn't want to spend a lot since this will be in an office and lightly used. Just don't expect high quality at this price and you won't be disappointed! ... show more
