It comes with top opening with a threaded lid and felt bottom. The Forest Blue pattern are uniquely finished by hand for each urn to show beautiful detail giving the FUNERAL URN a unique look to each finished product. Our urns are handcrafted uniquely by an ancient process called sand casting. This ADULT URN holds up to 210 cubic inch of cremains and approximate measure is that 1-pound weight prior to cremation equals 1 cubic inch after cremation . When my brother passed I was helping his family with his funeral. The funeral home urns were so expensive so I looked on Amazon and read reviews on them and purchased one thinking that if I wasn't pleased I would send it back and go back to the funeral home and purchase one from them. When it arrived I was very pleased with it and realized that this urn was exactly the same one they had at the funeral home for over $200.00 more than on Amazon. I know that this is not the time to be cheap but with the money I saved I was able to give that money to the family for other expenses that would be needed for other family needs. Soooo weird buying an urn online! We were very hesitant as we wanted our mother to have a beautiful container, and this was really a "trust factor" due to the obvious tight time frame of needing an urn right away that we liked. I am positive if we had bought this at a funeral home it would have been ALOT of money. This seemed to be high quality and it LOOKED LUXURIOUS and the with the bag it added that high end feel to it. Obviously, we're not experts at "urn quality", but everyone at the service mentioned how beautiful it was. By reading one of the review answers I thought it came with a mini "urn" in case someone wanted to keep a smidgen of the ashes but it did not come with it. Product is as advertised. I bought the Forest Blue (looks like water) adult and matching mini urn. They are aluminum, made in India, have screw on tops, and look nice. Both were packaged nicely in tissue, plastic, foam and cardboard. The mini urn seemed smaller than I imagined but is the 3 inches tall specified and it comes in a folding hasp locked box that cradles the mini urn. I had an issue with Amazon delivery vs billing address and Memorials4u customer service responded the next day as well as following up after delivery. Had an issue with chipping on the lid when we got it and was sent a new one immediately to replace it. After the new one was filled however the lid chipped even worse. The blue is beautiful and the material is sturdy metal. At this point just picking our battles.
