  • It really work out
I have been looking for tiller cultivator for a long time . Finally got this one . So happy to receive it as a gift from my parent. It really save a lot of time and money annual for repeat aeration. Set up was simple straight with instructions and quality meet my expectations compared to its price. The machine itself was easy to move around , not too heavy. And I had tested on the battery durability, it was great . Satisfied with it! ... show more

  • It doesn't go very deep
It doesn't go deep enough. I wanted it for going in between the rows in my garden. To keep the weeds down.

  • Works god for tiller established beds.
Best for using this to till already established beds / loose soil, It kinda bounces around on the more compact stuff, Its perfect for stirring a compost pile as well. All in all 4/5 stars.

  • Good tiller for small garden beds
Giving 5‐stars for a battery-powered tiller, but it falls a little short of gas-powered units of similar size. This tiller/cultivator does really well in soil that has been worked previously, but most battery-powered tillers do. I decided to give it more of a test and worked some ground for new patches that had been grass. I was able to get an area about 8' x 2' worked in about 15-20 minutes, going over the soil 3 times in alternating directions. A quick rake to remove the now loose grass and I was ready to put the seeds down. I moved on to a larger new plot for my vegetable garden that is about 20' x20'. To give a better chance I mowed the grass in this spot down to around an inch. I went over the space twice E-W, then had to do something week's so I went ahead and charged the batteries since they were half drained. I came back and raked the grass and went over the area N-S, raked, then began going E-W again trying to get dig more deeply and only got about 2/3rds done when the batteries ran out. I raked what was done again. There were still clumps of grass clinging to hard soil, despite being run over at least 2-3 times. Do I think it could do this size patch? Yes, as long as you are working it around other tasks that can fill the time re-charging batteries between every 1‐2 passes. Is it the best tool for the task? Not quite. I do like that it allows me to stand more upright when using than another smaller battery cultivator I have. It seems to move through the soil easily, but maybe too easily. I noticed that the tines only have a very slight bow to them, not the near 90-degree bend some tiller tines have. This allows this to move through soil that's fairly loose but just needs mixed in, but isn't the best at breaking up compacted soil or making new beds. Picking the unit up is awkward with the weight distribution, but rolling it around on the support wheels is manageable enough. Overall this tiller seems to be a decent value, especially for small spaces, or working in beds that just need a quick mixing before the next planting, but I think I'll have to go to a gas-powered unit to finish my new larger garden plot. ... show more
