  • low cost and easy to install.
This unit does what is advertised, easy to install and provides steady hot water, I have mine set to 116 degrees, you can set it up to 124 degrees, that is too hot for me. Provides hot water at a steady rate to multiple locations at once. I prefer over gas units. I had one for 11 years and the maintenance was costly. I did install the output line smaller than the input line by an 1/8 of an inch. Read on. Three days after I submitted this review the unit slowed down and was only providing 3/4 or less gals per min. not adequate to take a shower, called Marey and the Tech told me to try reversing the flow, I removed the output line and ran the system without power for a few minutes then put the system back on line and now have 3 + gal of very hot water. The service people will be the best part of working with the company, very good unit. ... show more

  • Prepare to do additional work.
Unit does work. Sort of. However, installation had multiple obstacles. Unit leaked from the flushing screw located on the back side( it just needed tightened, but not all the way tightened). Other people have commented in the review section about this issue as well, but it was slightly unclear to me what needed done until I did it twice . And the internal electrical reset (red) button was already tripped. ( push it ).... unfortunately the manual that came with the unit mentioned nothing about these issues, or that it should be addressed before installing.( I had no problems with customer support responding, however they asked the stupidest most basic questions and wanted me to verify my gallons per minute flow rate, and do a ohm electrical test and send them the results.... so not that useful) Also the LED display does many different things based on buttons you press in combination... Which the manual also does not tell you what those things mean. Which causes confusion when you try to use the unit after installing it and it doesn't Supply hot water. Or how to take off the cover so that you can address issues. Lastly, the little Phillips head screw that you use to take off the front cover located on the bottom is half covered by the cold water plastic ring making it particularly difficult to re-install after fixing the internal reset issue. SO..... my very best advice for all those considering purchasing this unit is... It does work. Use the 70 amp breaker, use 6 AWG wire. Before installing the unit, open the cover press the red reset button. look on the back side of unit and tighten the little brass screw... then back it off 1 turn.... There are multiple temperature zone maps from different manufacturers that show different readings in different zones based on different flow rates based on different lengths of pipe and whether they're insulated or not. And then when people write reviews, most fail to give information that would be helpful for your specific needs so, I want to include some specific details so hopefully it will help you decide your requirement needs. I am in Indianapolis Indiana. It is April 3rd. Incoming water temperature is cooler than normal this year And I am on city water supply. My post water heater Plumbing runs are less than 50 ft length and they run through interior walls and they are half inch interior diameter pipes. I do have low flow fixtures. this marey eco150 unit runs my shower head. It runs kitchen sink and basement sink simultaneously. I hope this information helps. UPDATE: 6/23/19 THIS UNIT SUCKS!!!! It has been a pain in the butt from unpackaging, to installation, to customer service phone calls, to installing, reinstalling, further continued issues, oh my Lord! The problem with this unit is the quote-unquote self-modulating. Unit Cycles on and off regardless of water flow rate, temperature of incoming water, Etc. Be prepared for your water to go cold on you. Regardless of all the other variables. Unit shuts itself down. Then turns on. Kind of sucky if you're taking a shower and it takes three minutes of you shivering in the tub Basin while unit decides to turn itself back on and Supply hot water. It happens consistently near every time. It is not a water flow issue. A installation issue. A City Electrical Supply issue. It is a crappy unit issue. So, my update is save yourself some headache, shivering, frustration, and quite possibly extensive installation uninstallation and reinstallation costs and buy a better unit. ... show more

  • Non-existent customer service will not honor warranty
I have purchased two of these water heaters for small rental properties that each have 1 bathroom and a kitchen. The first one worked great and is still running. The second one broke after a few months due to a defective part and I have been trying to contact Marey to replace it since it is still under warranty. They put you on hold indefinitely when you call their phone # and they do not respond to emails (I have sent 3 over the last 2 weeks). I was going to change over all of my smaller rentals to these water heaters but the fact that they do not honor warranties or have any customer service has made me change my mind. You are basically gambling with this company. Buy a different brand instead. ... show more

  • Works well!
So far, so good. Standard Water heater went out and I decided to try this type. Very nice! On demand, endless hot water. Was a little concerned about power requirements as was being installed in a mobile home. So far, zero problems!

Well pleased with Marey ECO150 Tankless water heater. I broke a part during installation. Marey replaced it free of charge + free shipping asap. WOW! We installed this product in our church as mostly we need hot water in the restrooms during service times. No more heating 50 gal. of water 365 days a year. Unit performs as described. Waiting to see difference in electric bill. Will give update later. Thanks Marey and thanks Amazon. A satisfied customer, Wiley Lampkin ... show more

  • BEST things to ever happen to my home!
My last heater overflowed one night, luckily I noticed it early. I’ve only had my home for 5yrs so didn’t know where to start. So when it was time for me to replace it, i did extreme research on new alt. to tank heaters. As a “millennial” I thought there must have been a newer invention then what our parents are use to, and I found this DIAMOND! I wanted to take the risk and felt confident after reading reviews. 1st off, it’s extremely light weight! It’s the size of a baby and super sleek look. 2nd, I’m a 26year old women who lives alone, but with lots of YouTube videos and trips to Lowe’s I installed it myself! And could do it again in 1/2 the time. 3rd. Feels AMAZING I never have to worry about possibly messing up my waterproof laminate floors. Basically I’ll end this review by saying it is the best new invention and I LOVE IT! My parents now want one, and I recommend anybody gets it before there current explodes(so you don’t have to go w/o hot water for a week). Any new home will be prob. be using this moving forward. It’s way cheaper than the old school way, light weight/compact, and 0 cons…all pros. This water heater gets way hotter than my other did. P.S By the 70 amp breaker at the same time like I did and typical 3/4 snakebites won’t fit so buy the 3/4-1/2 converter nut at any hardware store too. ... show more
