The balaclava is made with Para-Tek FR™ technology, which is a proprietary tri-blend that leverages the benefits of three high performance fibers: High strength para- aramid, lenzing FR and high tenacity nylon. The end result is a lightweight, breathable hood that offers exceptional protection against flames, heat and arc hazards. The MAGID® Para-Tek FR™ 6 Oz. High Performance Balaclava delivers lightweight NFPA 70E compliant flame and heat resistance. The hood has a high arc rating ATPV 34.4 and is designed to deliver superior protection while on the job.
