This bed arrived in a very heavy (2 person!) box but the pieces inside were helpfully bundled together in smaller amounts so they were easier to move. The instructions are simple and the minimal hardware is packaged conveniently. It includes the only tool you'll need, a hex key. I used my impact driver to make things go faster and was done with assembly in about a half hour. The rounded edges of the legs are a lovely detail, leaving nothing for anyone to bang their feet/legs on if your mattress, like my mom's, is sized just right and completely covers the edges/corners of the frame. Using this with a thick foam mattress and Mom can't feel the wood slats or center support bar at all, something I saw as an issue in reviews for similar beds. Would recommend getting a quarter inch bit adapter to use with a screw gun and you’ll have it assembled in no time. Price was great, no issues with shipping. My wife assembled this unit (she never does that type of thing, so the instructions were apparently quite good and the process was pretty simple). The only negative is that the slats are way too thin and flexible. We have two separate twin XL mattresses on the frame but the slats bend so much that they transfer all of the movement from one side to the other. I'll probably be putting some plywood sheets on top of the frame to try to remedy the problem. ... show more

i got this for a guest room to replace a futon i’d had for 15yrs. this full sized bed was actually easy for one person with moderate experience putting furniture together. it probably took me 90 mins. the underbed storage is excellent and to my amazement it is incredibly solid and *truly* squeak free. it shares many traits with the bed in my bedroom which i believe was 7-8x the cost. if you want.a solid bed for you or guests that is very minimalist in style, and that stays on budget, this is the one ... show more

It’s very high off from the ground and I love that. My only complaint would be that my 12” does constant slide since there’s no groove or insert for the mattress. It’s a FLAT base ALL the way, which some my like. But now we are looking into Velcro solution but the frame is sturdy. No wobbles or squeaks. I built it myself 5’3 120lbs super easy Comes with all the tools you need for a quick build. And the best feature are the CURVY LEGS!
