Be carful when installing the first cross bar. I installed it upside down at first and didn’t realize until I was almost done. However it was a really easy fix. It’s nice a sturdy and easy to move.

Assembly was straightforward, < 1hr to assemble. Sturdy, doesn't squeak, has rubber footings for hardwood floor. The 4 mattress stoppers are a nice bonus, careful when snapping those on though. Lots of space underneath. There is about a 5 inch gap between each rail which makes me a little worried to just plop a mattress on top of it rather than having a mattress base. ... show more

I bought this because my Malm bed (queen) from Ikea broke again, and this thing fits perfectly in the wood frame once the beam and wood slats are removed. Fairly easy assembly I was done in about 45 min, and it feels way sturdier than the Ikea support.

My cheap bed frame I purchased when I bought my bed a few years ago was starting to get unstable, squeaky, and uncomfortable. 2 of the legs had bent and there wasnt any support. I thought I might need a new bed but it was the frame. I got on Amazon and almost purchased the metal enforcements that you place where needed on your frame and then use screws to secure in place. Decided against it and started looking for new heavy duty bed frame. After doing research and reading reviews I decided on this one. It was delivered to the door and was pretty heavy. I had to drag it inside. No big deal. I asked my sister who is pretty handy to help build it. She did it, took her like an hour and a half alone. She had some issues saying it wasn't screwing in tight enough and seemed not too sturdy. She watched a few videos and then completed it. It was very sturdy after done. I threw out the box spring? Idk what you'd call it. Bottom piece of the bed because the bed was too high with 2 pieces on the frame. Placed my mattress directly on the frame. I have been sleeping like a baby since. No new bed need for a few more years. No squeaking. No uneven mattress. No uncomfortable sleep with a sore ish back. Total game changer. I'll update this review as needed. If you read and follow the instructions exactly. You will come away with a nice bed frame. I will say the instructions could be a bit more concise. I had to guess on few parts of the process and refit a few parts I installed backwards. As well as use some trial and error. This is why it is important to not screw anything together. Until you have put it together completely. It took me about 2 hours doing it carefully and by myself. To be overly cautious I installed all the screws loosely first. Then made several circles around the frame. Tightening them evenly a little at a time. Until they were all tight. The pieces individually seem a bit fragile. However, once completed this is a study and quality frame. Done right there are no squeaks, squeals or wobbles at all. I don't know if it will actually hold 3,000 pounds. It's seems sturdy enough for my fat a$$ though lol! Let's just say I'm under 250lbs. ... show more
