Bought this bc our new mattress was 13” thick and we needed a lower frame. Very well made and designed. Extremely sturdy and high quality. Easy (but not necessarily fast) to put together. Would highly recommend.

Once you put this bed frame together it is extremely sturdy. We have a very heavy queen mattress. It supports it perfectly. No movement, no squeaking. The clips that come with it hold the mattress in place. This is an excellent quality for a great price.

The best thing I would say about this product is that the volume of bars provides a great support. The construction was close to easy but not 100% intuitive. I had to flip a bar and others had to flip other parts that I would have made the same mistake they did if not for their detailed description of what to do. We got this for my in laws. FIL had a stroke 10 years ago and has a lot of struggles since. They were looking to downsize their big bed since they can hardly get in it anymore, both being in their mid 70s. I found this as an option hoping it would help. They are so happy with it! The rounded posts make it great so they can get his wheelchair and walker around without any issues of bumping into corners. MIL no longer has to worry about him hitting his head on big posts when he falls anymore. She also loves the underbed storage space since her place is much smaller than before. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend. My ex husband and I put it together for them. It was pretty simple for us to do, but we always tackled stuff like that together pretty well. I could have done it on my own. In laws, it would have taken a lot out of them. Just mentioning this bit in case it's helpful for others. It did come with tools which is always nice. My cheap bed frame I purchased when I bought my bed a few years ago was starting to get unstable, squeaky, and uncomfortable. 2 of the legs had bent and there wasnt any support. I thought I might need a new bed but it was the frame. I got on Amazon and almost purchased the metal enforcements that you place where needed on your frame and then use screws to secure in place. Decided against it and started looking for new heavy duty bed frame. After doing research and reading reviews I decided on this one. It was delivered to the door and was pretty heavy. I had to drag it inside. No big deal. I asked my sister who is pretty handy to help build it. She did it, took her like an hour and a half alone. She had some issues saying it wasn't screwing in tight enough and seemed not too sturdy. She watched a few videos and then completed it. It was very sturdy after done. I threw out the box spring? Idk what you'd call it. Bottom piece of the bed because the bed was too high with 2 pieces on the frame. Placed my mattress directly on the frame. I have been sleeping like a baby since. No new bed need for a few more years. No squeaking. No uneven mattress. No uncomfortable sleep with a sore ish back. Total game changer. I'll update this review as needed.
