I am so over wonky wooden frames that never last, split, crack, slats fall out, having owned many in my lifetime. I wanted a Heavy Duty Metal frame, one and done, and this will likely be passed on for generations. Pros: 1. Very economical price. 2. Heavy duty metal and steel frame fit my standard twin mattress exactly. This frame is rock-solid! 3. No box spring required. The 5.2" distance between steel slats allows plenty of air-flow under a mattress to prevent moisture from accumulating. 4. Anti-slip baffles (used to prevent the mattress from slipping). 5. Rubber plugs on leg bottoms prevent frame from sliding. 6. Comes with all tools required for assembly, parts including spares are labeled (no wondering why you have left-overs). Photo instruction sheet was easy to follow. 7. Quiet, no squeaking. Minor Cons: 1. Although the assembly was fast and easy. I did require assistance from a second pair of hands to attach the center legs and center side rail connections. I suppose if you could support the partially assembled frame with 12" blocks (or tall coffee cans, etc) of some sort a singleton could make the center connections easier otherwise its a little awkward, especially in tight quarters. 2. I wish the frame was a little higher for under-bed storage. My standard bins are 12.5" and 15". I'll just have to add risers to the 6 legs. I am really pleased with my purchase. The Platform was sturdy all steel construction. My husband & I put it together in less than an hour. It would have gone faster if we used his tools. The little tools are a little fiddly & the screws were a bit resistant to going in straight. We were so happy, the thick mattress we put on it fit exactly. The pieces that keep the mattress from sliding are the only plastic pieces. They seem easy to dislodge but I don't believe it will pose a problem once the bed is in its permanent spot. The 12inch under bed space is a little lower than I initially wanted but it is definitely adequate. This is a great buy! 👍I am very happy with this. ... show more

I got this because my son has a thing for jumping on beds no matter how many times he's told not to ahhaa. I can't tell you how many kid platform beds/ boxsprings that he's broken. It's ridiculous at this point! This Fram has been with us since August and it's doing great! It did take forevermore to ship as I ordered it in the beginning of July buttt I live in AK soo can't be too mad, because at least they ship here. Most definitely worth the buy if you have a destructive kiddo like mine 🤣 ... show more

I took forever to finally choose this frame. If you have to put it together all by yourself, don't despair! It can be a bit frustrating just putting in the screws while balancing the rods on your knees, but that was the only frustrating part but still, easy enough. All the hardware was there, the box wasn't super, super heavy. Even the young Amazon gal slid it up the stairs in front of my door so it was an easy delivery too. The instructions were easy to understand even if you tend to get confused by pictures and trying to remember "righty-tighty, leftie-lucy" can be a challenge, but everything is labeled beautifully. I've been sleeping on it for a week now and it stays put, the mattress stays put (defintely a plus with those pieces that hold the mattress straight) and I highly recommend this frame! ... show more

Made a not so new mattress BETTER THAN NEW! This is the second frame like this my family has purchased and I wish I would have known about this type of frame YEARS AGO!     • Great frame, but listed width wrong

We needed something with bars closer together to support our mattress that we use with no box spring. This model has more "slats" than others I found, so the spacing is closer. It's been great: our extra-firm mattress feels like new again because it's not sagging. I have a low back injury, and sleep on my stomach (which isn't helpful.) Since switching to this frame, I'm able to sleep through the night, and wake with no stiffness and pain. Hooray! It's really sturdy, and (theoretically) easy for two people to assemble... I docked a star for two reasons: 1.) The included Allen wrench is a softer metal that is not durable. Halfway through assembly, it lost its corners, meaning we then had to dig around in our tools to find another (and who has a set of Allen wrenches that's actually complete...?) 2.) The width dimensions listed are accurate, but not once the screws are installed. The screws are not flush-mount, which adds just over a half inch. As with our previous frame, we intended to drop this into our antique four poster frame that has side rails. Based off the listed dimensions, it should have fit with a half inch to spare. The added width meant we couldn't attach one of the side rails. We plan to remedy the issue by replacing the side screws with flat heads. ... show more

I'm really happy I picked this platform. I was impressed by the quality and the engineering that went into it. It's "rock solid" (a term people like to say). Effort was made to make it squeak proof - with rubber tape and solid design. I wanted to use our headboard and this platform has the holes to mount it.
