My dog slept so much better in this recovery suit vs the classic plastic cone. Also much easier for her when eating and using restroom. Highly recommended. For size she for the XXL best due to her chest width. She is a 6 month old pitbull weighing 55lbs.

It’s been extremely difficult to find the right body suit for my corgi, due to her shape. She has seasonal skin allergies, so I have to keep her stomach covered or she gets horrible sores. These outfits are literally the only ones out there that fit right. I tried a few other brands only to get some different colors, but it wasn’t worth it - they stretch out and start sagging, which is not convenient for a female dog that needs to pee. My dog is about 50 pounds and the XL is perfect! She will just stick to gray or pink! ... show more

    • Sizing is a bit off
I purchased this recovery suit, I did not receive it free for review. Let me start by saying I do like it, it is soft, feels breathable and the binding around the legs form a tiny sleeve of sorts that is exactly what my pup needed to keep her away from her incision (mammary tumor removal) which is quite close to the fold of her leg. Where I do have issue with it is that runs rather small even after I laid very close attention to the size chart. My toy poodle is 6.4 lbs, right in the middle of the weight recommendations for a size small, she has a 13.5” chest measurement, again right in the middle and she is 11 inches from neck to tail, those measurements should have put her in a small very comfortably with possibly an inch or two to spare around the chest but this is quite snug on her and lengthwise we are just squeaking by. Fortunately there is some stretch but I don’t like that it is so snug still. Otherwise, I do like this suit and it washed nicely (I did not put it in dryer since I can’t risk any shrinkage) and it’s doing it’s job. ... show more

I was excited to get this onesie so I could take the neck collar off of my dog. The material is very soft and stretchy and fit my dog perfect but once I Velcro the back up and wondered why he was squirming so much I looked at his rear and noticed that the fabric hits, right where he had his surgery. This claims to be a recovery suit, but it will actually rub against the stitches and the testes and do more harm than good. I’m very disappointed because I saw that it fit perfectly. I cut out the PP hole and now realize it will hurt my dogs incision and I cannot return it. ... show more

This worked out great with my older dog that had a tumor removed from her side. It stayed in place perfectly and seemed to be comfortable for her. The main reason I picked this suit is I didn't have to remove the back side of the suit so she could eliminate. It also has a cutout for a male dog. Stayed put when sleeping. My mother has a rather fat cat that has a section of his lower belly that he licks so much, he has taken all of the hair off and irritated his skin. The vet gave him a cone of shame, but he has to wear this for quite some time, so I was hoping that one of these suits would work. The suit itself is made nicely in a breathable fabric. I feel that the material is too thin to stop the cat from scratching and biting himself though. I picked this one so he can still use the litter box with it on. It does have a hemmed section you can cut out so a male dog that likes pink can still use it too. He weighs 19lbs and this suit really was pretty tight, even though the size chart says it would be the correct size. I know cats are built differently than dogs, but he is too fat for a cat suit. ... show more
