This looked great in the ads but it was cumbersome in my CR-V. it opened up okay but closing it was difficult, messed up my mirror, and was hard to close to its little size. I threw it away.

The media could not be loaded. Product info says it’s for suv, it is not it does not cover the whole windshield which I need it to cover for hot Texas days, disappointed at this purchase. I selected the Luckyliz Car Windshield Sun Shade for my Toyota Sienna. It has a large windshield and most standard sun shades are too small. The Luckyliz Sun Shade comes close, with its 57 x 31 inch measurements. I like that it opens exactly like an umbrella! I push the release button and extend the shade into a fully open position, like I do with my rain umbrella. It even has metal ribbing as the skeleton of the unit. Once fully extended, it locks to hold its shape. The shade has a sun reflecting silver side and black, heat absorbing inner lining. It is a bit awkward placing the handle against the dashboard. And the shade is a couple of inches shy of complete windshield coverage. But the setup, take down and storage is ideal! And it has a sheath to hold the compact sun shade! ... show more

    • Works just like an umbrella - but won't fit all vehicles.
It folds and unfolds like an umbrella. It is a little awkward to use but workable. It won't fit all cars. We tried in two midsize sedans. It fit the 2011 Sonata almost perfectly. It doesn't work at all in the 2018 BMW 530. It is too tall and working around the display screen is awkward. May be better suited to SUVs. It looks like it will do a great job if it fits. The reflective side is VERY reflective. Seems sturdy. Great product for the price. It folded up well and went back in the included holder. ... show more
