  • Perfect bag for amateurs travelling light
[Update] Now I'm using it for a full frame body (Nikon D750). I'm able to put 24-70 + 70-200 + 85mm inside (I was even able to take D5300 inside by throwing pouch away). Not much space left though, still works. The bag is still perfect for light travels. Not that good for all gear inside. [Original] Bought the bag as a storage for camera and lenses, and I want to say that it does it's job well. I've tried multiple setups within small trips and the bag handled it well. Two of tested setups are (check photos): 1) Nikon D5300 with Tamron 24-70mm G2 mounted, Nikon 35mm, Nikon 85mm, Nikon 18-140mm, flash, cards, etc 2) Nikon D5300 with Sigma 150-600mm C mounted, Tamron 24-70mm G2, Nikon 35mm (and some space still left, but tight) Pros: - rather roomy, I was able to fit in body +3-4 lenses with ease and had some space for flash, memory cards, filters and other things, I think I could have added a tablet or small laptop, but the bag would be too heavy to pick then - well built, all seams look strong, plastic looks quality, no complaints regarding quality whatsoever - I have some concerns regarding the overall look, but the depth is good, about the right size - OK for short distance travel, or flights, not that comfortable for long hikes, my regular Dakine backpack fits times better - as better photo backpacks - opens from inside, so noone can unzip it from your back and steal your equipment, inner pocket is good to put one's wallet or keys - OK price, bought from Adorama via Amazon, delivered on time, packed properly Cons: - I would say the bag is on the small size, as for me it's too narrow - the organizers inside the bag do not provide a configuration when camera will be fixed from both side (see photos), only if take lens of the body, which is not the way I prefer (like having camera ready for shot) - no way to make three equal size 'columns', the layout is always two regular and one super narrow, or two wide - not the best buddy for long hikes/runs, will be overloaded if loaded with full set of lenses and tripod and a bottle of water Summing up - good bag ... show more

  • Great camera backpack!
I have a Nikon d7200 with a prime lens and a smaller zoom lens. I had a Amazon Basics camera bag that was absolutely perfect for my needs...until I bought a larger, faster zoom lens. As such, my camera and now 3 lenses would not fit in my regular camera bag. I had been eyeing a camera backpack for awhile and started looking seriously at getting one. I saw this one in a brick and mortar store and felt that it was the best option. I especially like the protected zipper placement, as the main compartment cannot be opened from the back by some random person while the backpack is being worn. The backpack is very spacious - mine easily carries my camera body, both smaller lenses, my large lens, plus my lens ball, lens ball bag, camera cleaning supplies, owner's manual, cords, spare batteries, and other odds and ends. Of course it's a little heavy, due to the fact of what all it carries, but it's not uncomfortable when I'm carrying it around. It also has a waterproof cover that can be used in the event of rain/snow...I haven't had a need to use that yet, but I can see that it would come in handy if needed. All in all, this is a great camera backpack for my needs. I recommend it for anyone in the market for a backpack. ... show more

  • Comfortable, compact, and lots of storage for its size
I am 4’10” and was able to comfortably haul a good amount of digital and film gear on a job. The weatherproof shell was very helpful and kept the bag and my gear dry. I wouldn’t want to test it in long lasting rain though. Very roomy. I was able to pack: 2 SLRs, 3 lenses, 10 rolls of 35mm film, 2 lens hoods, 2 plastic dry bags for weather, batteries, lens cleaning supplies, memory cards, 1 light meter, my car keys, phone, and various pens and a small notebook in the bag for that shoot. I appreciated how small it is but how much it holds. My only complaint is the same as every other backpack - get some better strap management. I like to be able to roll up excess straps and have them tied in place so it’s tidier and not in the way of what I’m doing. All around a good purchase for an affordable working bag. Like all camera backpacks for someone my size, slightly awkward, but if you’re over 100lbs and 5 ft, it wouldn’t be bulky at all. I wouldn’t say it’s a hiking bag, but it did a day out on a lobster boat for a professional shoot and survived just fine. ... show more

  • Awesome Backpack
This is an excellent backpack. Used it recently for a three week trip to SE Asia. It held up very well. It was very comfortable to wear for long periods and it distributed the weight well. I never had any discomfort in my back or shoulders. I used it to carry around the following equipment: Sony A6300 with two spare batteries/charger Sony 35MM 1.8 Sigma 16MM 1.4 Sony 18-55MM DJI Mavic with controller, extra battery, and power brick GoPro Hero5 GoPro floating handle Tripod I also had miscellaneous equipment like SD card holder, camera weather cover, and probably a few other small things. Nothing ever felt cramped and it was very easy to flip around and access all the gear. The only negative thing thing is I wish the tablet holder was slightly bigger so I could use it for a laptop instead because then I'd use it as my daily backpack for work and would then carry a subset of my camera gear with me. Highly recommend this bag. ... show more
