    • It grips the tiny pins very well
This is very useful and easy to use as it grips the pin without exerting force because of the x design. Unlike other tweezers that I had used, I have to maintain the pressure to hold the pins which often slips out. This grips it upon releasing the pressure; reverse from common tweezers.

    • Large pins only. Not for Master or American Lock pins.
These are good enough for what they do. With a little adjustment, they can be made great. They hold every large pin I have tried them on, but pins for Master Lock and American Lock just fall right through. No demerits for that though, as they aren't designed for the small pins. The -1 star is for costing over $10 and still requiring adjustment to get them just right. ... show more

They are tweezers. They tweeze. If you need something to tweeze, these tweezers will do the trick. If you are looking for something to twizzle, don;'t buy these. For that, you need a twizzler.

Using reverse tweezers to place pins while re-keying a lock is a time saver and makes it easier on my hands. Having some physical issues in my hands, not having to “hold” the pins or springs is a life saver. They’re short enough that they can live in my re-keying tin of parts.
