Not going to lie....it looks like a toy due to the size and color. I get weird looks from the passers. However, it makes it lighter and easy to use. I have small lawn, so this was the perfect solution. No electric cord to handle and no gas smell. Battery does last long. For storage, take the receptacle out, loosen and fold over the handle assembly, you can stand it up to minimize the space it takes. Height setting is easy to use plenty to control how short/high you want to cut. No complaints. Gave 4/5 star for the maneuverability because depending on whether the grass is really long or there is a slope, you need to give some power to move it. This is because motor is not connected to the wheels. Note that there is no power to the wheels, as with any economical lawn mower. If you have a good size lawn or have slopes, not sure if this one will work for you. Also, I try to minimize rolling it on pavements because since wheels are plastic. Easy enough to lift it and carry. Motor does make a proper lawn mower noise. It's not like a electrical car where synthetic noise has to be added due to the quietness. It actually sounds like a regular lawn mower. I was actually surprised by it. With small and flat lawn, this is the one to get. While this mower is light, maneuverable, and easy to put together, it is also quiet. Now, with only a 20 volt battery, it only lasts for a short time in 80 to 90 degree weather. I have about a quarter acre lot of grass to mow and most of that in the back. So in front there is the 3 foot wide strip from the road to the sidewalk. There is also another 6 feet by 100 feet area in front. To be able to mow this area takes 3 to 4 battery recharges. This has changed from mowing the lawn in a 45-minute job to trying to get the front done in one day and neglecting the back larger yard altogether. With only 6 uses id the mower at full charge I have found the blade is already dull. I also found a larger section in the middle that is blocked out so there is only about 3 inches of cutting space on either side of the rotating blade. i have never had a new mower need a new blade so soon. If you only need a small section of grass to be cut at about 75 square feet then this mower will work. The mower i was using was gas powered craftsman 21 inch yes it has a bigger area but didn't take as lone and my wife has allergies and is unable to mow the lawn. Would not recommend this to anyone unless, I really didn't like them and wanted to waste their time and money. My electric weed edger does a better job. included a side-by-side comparison to what I have been using. One other thing is i have not had gas or electric mower that worked with bagging my clippings.     • It's relatively lightweight, it works great!
I'm a woman in my mid 60s and purchased this mower. It came mostly assembled (thank goodness) and it took very little time to screw in the upper part of the handle and tighten the bottom. (Watch the video.) No ton of extra parts etc. Easy peasy. I even assembled it in my living room. It's just so cute (I got the black/white model.) It was killer hot out but I took it out back and with the battery charged, it fired right up! Presto I was mowing the lawn (first time in years). It moves nice, looks sharp and it's not overly loud. Some complain that grass catcher could be bigger but for me, female not wanting to try out for super woman, it is fine for me to empty it a few times at a lighter weight. If you're a super strong person, you may want to get a mower with a larger catch bag. I'd say this one is small to medium at best. Again, perfectly fine for me. One other point about the grass catcher - the lid opens right up and it's super easy to remove and put back on. (My last mower's lawn catcher lid only opened 1/2 way and it was a real pain to take off and put on. This one is easy! It is very easy to move around. After mowing I carried it downstairs. I like that the white cover just opens up so easily yet keeps things clean/dry inside. This mower has a swath of 13 inches which isn't overly wide but it works if you want an 'easy' mow. For smaller yards, this is a gem. (I even mowed inside of my pop-up mesh tent!) The battery came about 1/2 charged. I plugged it in the day before and it was ready to go when I needed it. I mowed my entire back yard only so the battery didn't die on me at all. I probably could have mowed the front too. Another cool point is that it's battery operated, so when you need to stop for some reason, like move something out of the way, it's so easy to just let go of the handle. With gas or pull start mowers, typically you would leave those running and waste gas. Starting it couldn't be easier, just push the button and squeeze the handle! I think this one will be with me for a long time. As some point, I'll probably buy a second battery and even that is only about $40. I find this item to be modern, affordable, stylish and efficient for what it is. All Thumbs Up!! ... show more

    • This mower is lightweight and easy to use
This lawn mower is powerful for being so small. It is lightweight and easy to carry when necessary. The battery only lasts about 30 minutes so I would recommend purchasing an extra one if you plan to do any significant mowing at one time. It was easy to put together and seems quite durable. It's easy to clean and store. It's nice to not have a cord to drag around. This is perfect for small yards and it is very quiet for a lawn mower.
