  • Excellent, feature-rich phone without a high pricetag
Color: Black
This is a great phone, especially for the price range. My previous phone was the original LG Stylo so I was overdue for an upgrade. I like that they moved the stylus to the bottom. And I especially like that it detects when you remove the stylus and presents you with the obvious things you might want to do with the stylus. The screen is a nice large size for those of us that don't like to use Internet on small screens. It has a fingerprint reader but I'm not currently using it. I started to set that up but was impatient with process. It is either tricky to set up or it is just me. First phone I've had that had one. My previous phone used a micro sim card but this phone uses a nano sim card, so I did have to call my provider for a new nano sim card but they sent one right away with no charge. If your current phone uses a nano sim then it should be easy enough to just move from old to new phone. The nanosim and microsd card (if you use one) are inserted into a tray in the side. You use a special tool provided to open tray. Make sure you don't lose it. I do prefer this to my old phone where these cards went near battery. I don't believe that the battery can be replaced but that seems common now with most phones. The battery life is great. I've only been charging it every 4 days or so. The camera takes nice photos. The wifi works great. Wifi is dual band but I've only used the 5Ghz band so far. Since this is an Amazon edition, it is preinstalled with Amazon's various apps. If you use these apps then you will find it convenient but otherwise you might find these preloaded apps annoying. I use most of them. ... show more

  • Try an LG for great quality and amazing color resolution. A+
Color: Black
I don't use fingerprint readers so don't take my word for that one. I garden a lot and an always messing up my finger print. Some plants have thorns that even go thru gloves. LOL. Anyhow BTW...I LOVE LGs. Only had trouble with one. This is my5th one in 13 years or more. Color is amazing and lasted longer then my familys Galaxys. I was the oddball out of the 4 of us. Seems I was right in choosing LG. My Hubby now owns an LG. Do a little research before going with what everyone else thinks. LGs are awesome. TVs also. Great clear and bright color. The problem I had with my one LG phone was actually my fault. I did not use that phone as often. I have two cell phones. I left it plugged in A LOT. The battery puffed up. Don't leave cell phones plugged in all the time. Unplug as soon as they r charged. I screwed up. Luckily it was a inexpensive LG. The price of LGs r pretty reasonable for what u get. I am happy with my LGs and my Hubby LOVES his also. Like I said he always just went along with my kids and bought Galaxys but I talked him into a LG and he finally admitted I was right. ... show more

  • Got nervous over the 1 star reviews...
Color: Black
Bought it after my old LG phone quit after 4 1/2 years. I've only ever had LG phones and the main thing that stuck out to me about this phone was the price. I figured it was going to have issues since it's so cheap. However, it was really surpassed expectations on all fronts. It doesn't drop calls, internet works great, and the HD call function sounds amazing! The biggest inconvenience was the fact that my SIM card didn't transfer from my old phone to this one so I had to order one through my carrier (Verizon). There are also reviews that state the phone does not have wi-fi calling, meaning you cannot make a phone call while you are connected to a wi-fi network, and therefore cannot open an app or your email while on a call. There is a function on the phone that allows you to turn on wi-fi calling. Just search for it in the settings and turn it on and it works like a charm. All in all, decent storage (only 16 GB available out of 32), great camera quality, great sound quality, and great screen quality. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great smartphone that fits your budget. ... show more

  • Satisfied with this phone
Color: Black
The battery life is fantastic. The thing lasts me days on one charge. I have to be careful, but I’m very pleased about this. The touch screen works well. The animations when you scroll through the menu settings are a little choppy. The phone works well enough that I’m satisfied. I still can’t open my paychecks through my job’s website. I can get it on the computer and on an old iPhone, but not this phone (nor on my old Stylo 2). ...So I’m bummed out about that. Overall, I’m satisfied. It’s a good phone for $159.99. I’m glad I found it for that much. The price was raised right after I bought it, and the new price seems to be the same as the Stylo 6... That doesn’t make sense to me, but I’m glad I got my Stylo 5 when I did. ;) Edit: I forgot to mention the battery included was dead when it arrived. It was totally discharged/never charged up at all (0%). It was a bad surprise and cost me time, since the phone needed plugged in to work and charge before using. ... show more

  • Good deal
Color: Black
Got it for my boyfriend because he had a stylo 1 for a few years and it was making his life a living hell. It's taller, but also skinnier than his old phone (stylo 1) and my phone (stylo 3). Battery life is pretty good, cameras are decent but nothing phenomenal. The weirdest thing to get used to is going from a button on the back of the phone to the side of it. Also, the back doesn't come off, there's a pinhole you insert a little key thing into to pop out the SD/SIM cards and then put it back in, which we both found rather difficult to get right because it's rather flimsy and the cards didn't want to stay put. Super easy to set up though, he has Verizon so we just had to stick his sim card in the phone and it was already downloading all his stuff from the cloud. We don't really have a use for the Amazon/Alexa add-ons, but the phone was on a great sale and it was the one he wanted, so all in all it was a great deal. ... show more
