The media could not be loaded. The Dog Pacer treadmill was incredibly easy to assemble, especially with the help of their step-by-step YouTube video. Our puppy quickly adapted to it; by the third day, she was confidently running on her own. On the first day, we used treats to guide her onto the treadmill, day two she was still a bit hesitant due to the sound and movement, so we used a leash to keep her on the treadmill. By the third day, she was running without any assistance. I continue to reward her with treats after each session to keep her motivated. The packaging was badly damaged and was afraid to see the product but nothing was damaged. Easy to assemble and great product!

    • the treadmill came in a very damaged and in wet box.
My dog is very happy. For a condo it is very good to have. The dog gets exercise in the house. It's little noisy, but I love this trade mill for my Golden doodle 64LB dog. One does not have to take the dog out in rain , cold or in very hot weather. I just got this 2 days ago. Hopefully I do not anticipate any problem later on. I recommend if you love your dog , get this dogpacer. Outside walking the dog is not enough. Only regret got the treadmill in a wet damaged box. Luckily item was ok. ... show more

    • Walking track wouldn't stay aligned - had to return
We really wanted to love this treadmill for our overweight, reactive 90+ pound lab. I did a ton of research and this seemed to be a really good fit for what we were looking for. I opted to order from Amazon, even though it was a bit more expensive, because many other sellers didn't allow returns and I wasn't positive how our dog would take to it. It's a pretty expensive piece of equipment to just gather dust if he was terrified of it. We received the treadmill on time and it was packaged well. The instructions were pretty clear on how to assemble and it didn't take too long. It's definitely not as "portable" as they say due to the size and weight, but that wasn't a concern for us because we planned to keep it unfolded and in the same area at all times. Once we had it all assembled we followed the instructions to make sure the walking belt was aligned. NOPE! It kept shifting to the right. We followed the instructions in the booklet to fix this, but still didn't work. So we headed to YouTube and the Dog Pacemaker website and watched several tutorials and none of the tips to align it worked. It just kept shifting no matter what we tried. They include a flyer in the box that says "DO NOT RETURN TO AMAZON" with information on how to contact them if you have issues. So, I tried calling the number and it went to a wrong number. I then posted a question here on Amazon hoping the seller would respond, but no luck. I then emailed the support address and waited a week with no response. So, we opted to return. Thanks goodness for Amazon! I am still giving this a 3 star rating because in general I think ours was likely defective and maybe something happened in the shipping, but the product itself seemed like a good quality treadmill. I'm also only giving 3 stars because customer service was non-existent - they include a wrong phone number to call and never responded to my email inquiries. I'm just super grateful I spent a little extra to order from Amazon than through another seller that doesn't offer returns or charges a large fee. ... show more

    • Lifesaver in the Winter
The media could not be loaded. The DogPacer was a game change for us. We live in the PNW and the icy sidewalks can make walking our boy treacherous. Thanks to his DogPacer, he gets his exercise even when it's too icy to walk outside safely. The video I uploaded is the very first time he walked on it as a puppy, and it shows how we trained him to use it. At first he wasn't too sure about it, so we took the training slow. Now he'll get on it by himself and ask me to run a program for him. Just make sure to always stay with your dog when he's on the DogPacer so you can stop it immediately if necessary.     • Cool product, but a bit loud and large for apartments.
The media could not be loaded. I really like the product. It is a bit loud, but I don't mind; however, I am considering returning it. It is big for my space.

    • Does the job and my dog loves it
The media could not be loaded. There aren’t a lot of apartment friendly treadmills for large breeds, so it’s hard to complain about this one. In my opinion, it’s better to have it than not at all. It works and my dog loves it, but it squeaks and the belt needs constant attention in order to keep things running smoothly. It’s probably fine, but I just keep waiting for it to break, lol. That said, I’ve used it almost twice a day, everyday, for several months and it’s still going. If you have a high energy dog that needs 2 hrs or more of activity a day, or live in a place with extreme weather, then this thing will be a lifesaver. I did the math and compared the cost of the treadmill to the cost of paying a dog walker for three 1 hr walks a week, and the treadmill is cheaper and paid for itself in less than 2 month. ... show more
