Replaced a 10 year old halogen outdoor motion floodlight that was stuck “on”. This light is well made, great fit and finish, adjustable lights and motion head, simple installation for an experienced DIY person used to working with electrical devices and outlets. Has a “test” mode for setup to be sure wiring is correct and you can set the time “on” from 1 minute up. Motion is adjustable as well. I have it set at 50 feet. Great price. The build appears to be good quality - good metal, good paint, wires good gauge. This is under an eve and I felt that it didn't aim 'out' enough, more down than out, but installed in anyway -- would pass judgment in the dark. If you are coming from standard floodlights, you are in for a shock. REALLY bright! The lumens count is over 2x of 65 watt bulbs, sure seems like more. And the aim is not a problem - it sends light out 100' easily (ours is mounted high). Motion seems to work fine. But note: the color of the light is much whiter (or bluer) than a std bulb. I'm fine with that, but know it won't 'match' your other std flood lights. ... show more
