There is nothing to dislike about this set. I was hesitant because it was pricey, but the work and design that has gone into this set is incredible. I am in my late 80's and found this to be extremely delightful to build and enjoy the beauty of the design. With over 2300 pieces, I was missing one piece at the end of the build, but was able to create it with the extra pieces that accumulated. I highly recommend this set for anyone who would like to relax and build a work of art. So happy Lego is being made for adults. I know there are less expensive sets available by other manufacturers of this build, but I highly recommend the original Lego, it is sturdy and beautiful. This one was a little complicated to put together due to all the similar colors, but that just added to the fun challenge it was in building it. Due to the abstract nature of this Lego I found nearly the entire build to be exciting, with the black frame assembly being the only repetitive part. The finished product looks beautiful and the 3D aspect of it really brings it to life. You can hang this on the wall as you do build a mounting point on the back of it, but I would use a sturdy anchor as it is on the heavy side. ... show more

I love this set. I have about 20 lego sets and this was one of 2 favorites to build. (The other being Snow White’s cottage) it looks really great on my mantle. On that note, displaying it on a shelf required me to add more Legos to the under-side to make it more sturdy. It would only be held up by a little peg. If you are displaying it make sure you have an extra handful of legos to add. ... show more
