  • Does the job well
Size: 15A NEMA 5-15
This is a good charger, looks great, it is slow, but I expected that, with it only being a 5-15A plugged in to a normal wall outlet. Came packaged securely, easy to install just plug in and go, love that the cable is long so doesn’t really matter where I park in the garage, only small issue is initially when I plug it in to my tesla it doesn’t latch (my car tells me with a yellow blinking light at the charge port and message on my dash) but I only have to hold it at a slight angle til I hear the click the light starts blinking green then it’s good for the duration of the charge. No issues with disconnecting after I get it to securely latch in the port. Overall I would recommend because it’s a good price and the small issue I have only takes a few extra seconds to fix so not a big deal to me. ... show more

  • The 15 amp version is far better than Teslas.
Size: 40A NEMA 14-50
The 15 amp, regular wall outlet wire, is a great tool for home and travel. It is far superior to Tesla's, which only puts out 12 amps. Tesla's plug comes apart, and many times just stops. Someone can also take the lower half. This one never stops working. It is one solid wire which usually gives you 6 miles per hour in a Y. Once locked into your Tesla, no one can come and take it away. It works at anyone's home, and it works all over the place at any open outlet. If you start to really look, open your eyes, you will find open outlets all over the place. In front of office buildings, hotels, in parking garages, and even in parks, and so many lampposts. Charge up while on a hike or walk in towns. No one has ever said a word. Never install your front plate, and back up in spaces close to the wall. It is a fabulous tool. Enjoy free power while the polluters pay for gas. You need this one. ... show more

  • Great charger for tesla
Size: 40A NEMA 14-50
Much less expensive than the name brand Tesla. Works great. Just plug into the wall and plug into the car. The hard part is getting the 50amp 240v outlet. With the outlet in place, this charger is easy. Screw to the wall and plug in. The cord is just slightly on the short side. It is just slightly longer than the length of the Tesla Y. ... show more

  • Beware
Size: 15A NEMA 5-15
I have a story, I have a Tesla model three, then I recently bought a Tesla model. S, the model S did not come with a charging cord, so we were sharing the same cord between both cars, because we live in Danville Virginia, we do not have a Tesla Super Charger, so I purchased this charger. the first night, it charged my car to 40%, it was my mistake. I thought it charge 40 miles, when I realized my mistake I had already started the ball rolling to return it. Since it was my mistake, I had decided not to return it, but the second night after driving the car. Which had charged up to 100 miles, on Saturday morning I drove the car around for about 70 miles, I had 33 miles left in the car on Saturday afternoon at 2 PM, on Monday morning at 8 AM which was 30 hours later, and it had not charged but maybe 1 mile, it was on flashing green, but the car had not charged, my wife said maybe it’s because we had both cars charging at the same time, I said that can’t be because they’re on different fuses, so I gave it a third chance I plugged it in and charged it for an hour, and it had not charged at all. It was still at 33%, which messed up my day because I could not drive my car to work. I took the car out of the garage, pulled into the other garage and charged it with the cord I had from the model 3, I Gave it a half an hour, and it charged 5 miles, so I return the bad one, it almost made me miss a full days work, if it had not been for my Corvette, I would have been stranded, thanks to your charger ... show more

  • Works well! No extra accessories needed
Size: 15A NEMA 5-15
I like the fact that this has a direct plug for Tesla and I didn't need to use an additional plug or adapter in order for it to start charging. It plugs right into your regular 110 volt house plug or garage plug and started charging right away. It did pump out a full 16 amps which is completely normal and charged to my car without any issues. Pretty lightweight and the cord is pretty long as well so it made my life easy. I would just suggest getting some good solid clamps for when you run the wire as well as perhaps a housing unit that you can use once you unplug your car so you have the wire to put somewhere. Great value for its money ... show more

  • We now spend $10 a week on charge with this charger
Size: 15A NEMA 5-15
We drive 1,000 a month give or take on average. We used to charge our car at charging stations every week which would cost us $18-$22 at times which isn’t too bad but started doing research on kilowatts and how they works and realized that we would spend a lot less money and time if we charged it it home. Our cost per kilowatts is .15 which for the sake of keeping things simple equals to about $10 for a full charge on a standard range which is now 254 miles. It takes about 2-3 days of 8 hours to fully charge but it’s mostly done over night which doesn’t inconvenience us at all. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s looking to spend less time and money at charging stations. I would recommend to start by researching what your electric company charges you per kilowatt and if that fluctuates based on peak hours etc. ... show more

  • Keep under 40V
Size: 40A NEMA 14-50
This charger works great for my Tesla model three, can fully charge it within 4 to 5 hours. However, when my windshield broke, and they gave me a loaner, which was the Tesla model X, I tried charging it with this 40 V amp, using this charger. it blew the circuit board, so I had to go to a supercharger. I would keep it down to 34A and you shouldn’t have problems. ... show more

  • Just works...
Size: 40A NEMA 14-50
I was having some issues while charging my Tesla Model S at home using the Tesla mobile charger. It was tripping often and I would have to go out to the garage to reset it 3-4 times per charge. Not only that, the Tesla mobile charger was limited to 32 amps, whereas this one charges at 40 amps consistently. It has not tripped once and is working well for me. Side note- I do have the wiring and breaker necessary to support the 40 amp draw. ... show more
