These solar string lights have been battered in the backyard since our lawn person accidentally knocked them down and then I accidentally stepped on two. I was going to toss them but to my amazement the surviving lights shone on. This is after a year of record heat and some brutal storms. So today I searched my purchases to see if I could buy replacement bulbs. I couldn’t believe I bought these nearly two years ago, in fall 2022! Unlike other solar lights I’ve hung in the same place, these have not dimmed. And the protective casing on the connecting cord is still perfect after a great deal of rain in that time. So I’m going to replace two bulbs and stick with these great lights. The color is beautiful too, very cozy at night. Highly recommend. ... show more

These are marketed as shatter proof bulbs but they are NOT. Mine fell over and there is glass all over my yard. Do not recommend. I am so mad

It's a good product that provides continuous light using solar power, but at just 1 watt, it's not bright enough for dark situations. This wattage is better suited for close-range indoor or outdoor settings. I'd recommend looking for something around 5 watts, which would be bright enough for a light string that's elevated. ... show more

I bought these lights to string across our house walkway above the front gate. They went up easily with some small cup hooks I have. I remembered to press the button on the back of the solar panel so they would charge, and they worked perfectly. One tip - and this is true, I think, of all string lights with screw-in sockets - check the bulbs to make sure they are firmly screwed in. Otherwise a few may not light up. Once I had mine tightened, all worked and they put out a very nice light. Highly recommended. ... show more
