A gorgeous, high-quality band. I'm so glad I purchased this. The wood pieces are solid wood front to back, not laminate. It is comfortable and was easy to adjust and fit. There are 2 smaller metal links (one on each side of the butterfly buckle) that can be removed to adjust to half sizes as well. Whoever said the fit couldn't be fine-adjusted didn't see the half pieces. I oiled the wood pieces prior to wearing. The buckle is very comfortable and stays closed. I have a small wrist, and this still looks great. I work on computers and I don't find it catching or rubbing at all. It does not pop open and has not scuffed yet. Very classy. The media could not be loaded. This product is amazing! I thought I would use this band in daily life and then use my standard band when I go out hiking. but the ability to remove the watch and put it back on so easily by the clasp has made the Fenix be better so I can take it off and get my bearings and change settings. then put it back on and snap it secure. The wood looks amazing and this is durable. I was going to buy the Garmin Titanium band for $150 because it looked amazing. but let me save you all the trouble.. this is 1,000 times better and I get compliments all the time. it has made this Fenix 5x worth more than its weight in gold. Above was written in 2019.. It is now 5/10/2022. Still have it on the watch daily for all activities I love it and am thinking of getting another just to have a fresh one... pics from then and now ... show more

I use it on my Garmin Tactix 7 pro ballistic edition for 30 days and 24 hours. It's tuff, good-looking, and anti-scratched. the color of the wooden parts is still the same and the sun and shower didn't affect the color of it.

I bought this because i wanted a more dressy look for my Garmin. I have a really Nice Original Grain watch that has the band and most of the watch made out it wood. But it is rather delicate. This band gives me the stylish look of wood while it is protected by the metal links. Sizing the band was an exercise in aggravation, no it is not difficult, but my eyes and my fingers are not as cooperative as they were many years ago. But with good light, Magnifying lenses and some needle nose pliers, I made it work. Be sure to remove links on both sides of the clasp as you size it so you dont go lopsided. this band is quite generous in size, I removed 4 links to make it fit me where it wont spin but doesnt cut off the circulation in your hand. Over all I like it, but since I have no reason to swap bands at the moment ,it is sitting next to the charging station waiting for its turn on the watch. ... show more

The band looks and feels good, and appears to be a quality product for the price. I've only had the band for a couple of weeks so can't speak to how it stands up to daily wear, only time will tell. It's easy to attach and remove from my Garmin Fenix 5x. The manufacturer provides a tool to add or subtract links too. The only negative is the tool is too small to handle for large hands. I happen to have a tool from another watchband that is larger and gets the job done. ... show more

I wouldn't wear it for a workout but with the quick release on the the Fenix it is easy to switch out. Comes with tools to size it for your wrist, easy to do. Great value!

This band looks amazing and feels good..until you install it on your watch. With the Garmin Fenix 5 this band feels very cheap and I get worried that I will break one of the links, it's also very noisy. But for just the minimal amount of time I use this band its nice for the cost.

I like this band in every way. It doesn't hold the sweat in like the original rubber band did which caused a rash if I wore it too much in one spot. The links were fairly easy to adjust the sizing when I first got it. The wood is a nice touch, I can tell it is real because one of the links was cracked, hopefully that will not be a problem later but it looks nice now. I use this as my daily band working on cars, snowboarding, running, and everything else. It has held up well, the latch has stayed latched, and it's stylish. What more could you want? ... show more
