After a little while, you'll smell like your favorite local bakery. At first, the scent is pretty strong, but this is the type of perfume that people will stop and ask what you're wearing. Overall I got this as a blind buy. So many reviews said it’s sugary and oudy. I definitely smell the incense but on me it isn’t obnoxious or loud. It’s balanced with the vanilla. It’s my first real oud fragrance and I don’t regret getting it. I love it. Definitely see myself wearing this all winter and fall and can see my husband wearing it as well. This pairs perfect with any sweet vanilla scent if you do get it and it’s a little to oud for you. Wish it lasted longer though. On me it didn’t last too long but I may try to experiment more with layering scents and lotions too. EDIT: this lasted super long don’t need to reapply at all. On clothes it lasted until I washed them This has became my favorite fragrance it replaced my Kayali vanilla 28. It’s almost the same but this is more mature and has more to it than Kayali I’m definitely going to buy a few more backups ... show more

I saw many reviews of this and other oud perfumes saying they smell like your "grandma". I beg to differ. Unless your grandma smells like frankincense and myrrh incense burning all the time, it has nothing to do with your grandma. I'm new to the world of ouds and smoky scents myself, but there's nothing mature about this. If anything you just smell like church or temple incense. Like STRAIGHT incense. Not bad, but can be overpowering to someone who's nose is sensitive or can't appreciate it for what it is. Only after it dries down for about an hour or so do you get any hint of anything sweet. I bought this product thinking it will be a good blind buy. Because I bought Choco musk best blind buy ever. I decided to try this house the smell is overwhelming and smells like my granddaddy’s Gullah gechee shop but more granny like. Everyone was taking about how it smells sweet and like wood and whatnot but really its an old homey smell. At a small distance away you smell vanilla IN THE BEGINNING but the closer you get the more it smells like your grandma's home. I kinda like it because it's not bad but I'd never wear it cause I'd smell OLD Update: after wearing it for a whole day, I can say the scent lasts a LONG TIME. I even took a shower and I could still smell it. And after having it on for so long I actually like the smell, granted everyone said it still smells like some granny's house lol ... show more

The smell was so strong that I could smell it through the box before I took the plastic off. Definitely a loud fragrance which I love! Immediately can smell the vanilla and it has a strong woodiness, typically oud fragrances last very long and are very distinctive. It almost smells exactly like Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford and many others I can think of with that strong vanilla-oud aroma! Only spray on skin because this is very staining. This is the type of fragrance where you only need 1-3 spritz since it is so powerful, if you have a sensitive nose or you’re the type to get a headache from potent fragrances then this is not for you!
