  • Almost Everything You Need
This is the second brand of lash lift kit that I've tried. I prefer this one for several reasons: 1. The pads are different colors, MUCH easier to tell the different sizes apart. 2. The vials that hold the products are clear, can easily see how much is left. This is especially helpful since the kit contains enough for multiple uses. The previous kit I used had opaque bottles and I was afraid after a couple uses that I was going to run out of product mid application - which would've been a nightmare. No worrying about that here! 3. Came with a tool that has a V on one side and a pointy end on the other, great for separating the individual lashes after they're stuck to the glue - this is always one of the hardest parts for me. 4. The manual details what each product is AND LISTS THE INGREDIENTS! I accidentally spilled half of the cleaner during my first application, but since I can see exactly what is in it, I'm just going to buy a similar one to use when I do my second round with this kit. Cons: 1. Did not include plastic wrap, which is necessary. I had thin plastic wrap left over from another kit, but if this is your first time, make sure you have plastic wrap on hand. 2. The instructions don't include pictures, which is not beginner friendly. I recommend watching videos of people applying lash lifts on themselves so you get a full idea of the process before trying. As you can see from the pictures, I have fairly long lashes, but they grow straight out/down from my eyelid. I used to get lash lifts done professionally, but it was $85 + tip every 6 to 8 weeks. This kit was only $20 and will last 3 or 4 applications, I hope. The manual does say that the shelf life is 18 months unopened, 3-5 months after opening (Pro tip: write the date you open the products on the package so you have it for future reference!) If you redo your lash lift every 8 weeks, then 5 months should get you about 4 uses, which would be perfect. Is it easy to do on yourself? Ehh not really. Its a fiddly process, but definitely doable and well worth the savings for me vs having it done professionally. I just watched a bunch of tutorials and go very slowly. And the results are honestly spectacular. My tips for success: 1. Watch some videos of other people doing lash lifts on themselves and/or professionals doing them on other people. Then you can see the whole process laid out and they usually have helpful suggestions. 2. At least the first time, do each eye one at a time all the way through. Yes, it takes much longer, since the perm and fixation lotions each need to "cook" for 12 mins, but its better not to be stressed and half blind while you have chemicals next to your eyeballs. 3. Set up everything you need in easy reach at the start: everything in the kit, plastic wrap, paper towels for wiping excess formula/cleaning. You don't want to be wandering around your house looking for something while you are half blind. 4. Choose the right size pad. I always use the smallest one, which gives the most dramatic curl. I've tried the medium ones, but they don't look nearly as dramatic, which is the whole point for me! 5a. Take your time on the eyelash gluing step. If the lashes are not perfectly positioned on the pad, they will look wonky when you're done. Let the glue get tacky first and take your time brushing the lashes evenly onto the pad. Use the lil stabby tool to move and separate so everything is fanned out perfectly before you move on. 5b. I apply the glue to half of the pad, wait 45 seconds, then situate half of my lashes (usually the outside half), then apply glue to the inner half of the pad, wait 45 seconds, and situate the other half of the lashes. That way you aren't rushing to get the whole lid done at one, which is tough cuz the glue dries fairly quickly. Usually a few lashes refuse to stick after those two steps, so I'll apply just a little more glue, wait 45 seconds, and then get those last lashes stuck down too, sometimes just carefully pressing with my finger. 5c. Don't be afraid to start over on this step. If the glue is pilling up and the eyelashes are not positioned well and you're getting frustrated, use the cleaner to remove all of the glue from the lashes and pad, take a lil breather and try again. I had to start over on my left eye today and I'm glad I did because it turned out way better than it would have if I had pushed through. 6. I learned this online: only apply the perm solution and fixation solution to the bottom half or so of the the lashes. That's the only section that is really important for the lifting effect and since the perming is damaging to the lash, no need to apply it on the top half - which is already more fragile apparently. You can see in my "During" pic that I only have the solution on the bottom and my results still look amazing. Be patient! Good luck! ... show more

  • Glue did not work, but good customer service
Original review: The glue did not hold my eyelashes to the pad, I tried to sandwich them with a second pad and hold them down the whole time. The first eye I attempted curled a small, barely noticeable amount. The second eyelash curled so dramatically it bent back into my eyelid, causing some discomfort. It has stayed for a week, but I am hoping it goes away soon because it looks very clumpy with mascara. The perming liquid smells strongly like sulphur and stings. Update: the company proactively reached out to me and offered a refund or replacement due to my bad experience, which I appreciated. After 1 month my one eye’s lashes are still bent in all directions and look bad with mascara on, but this does prove that the perming effect lasts a long time. Had the glue worked for me, I think I would not have had this issue and it was my attempt to “DIY” it and try to work around the glue not sticking that caused the botched eyelashes. So all in all my advice is if the glue does not work for you as it did not work for me- STOP THERE. If the glue does hold your eyelashes up, you will probably get the results you want. And maybe have a friend help you if possible. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your time
I normally get my lash lift done professionally, but I decided to try myself. It’s just not worth the time & money. I couldn’t get the lash lift pad to stick on my eyelid. It kept coming up on the corners the whole time. ALSO, it says you don’t need lots of glue but you do. My eyelashes would not stay stuck to the lift pad and after I finished they had tons of glue residue on them, which is hard to remove. Overall, the lift was not good. I can barely tell a difference from my relaxed, natural lashes. Just go to a professional. ... show more

  • Works and looks great and has lasted longer than expected
Since I was scared to use this on myself, I passed this to a friend who does this kind of services more often and is used to them. She said first you will need a second hand for the process to go much easier. Secondly, she said that following instructions will make the final output look much better. Third, you really need to make sure to use a clean face or area for the products to apply and stick better. So it's been a month now since application and she still loves the results. Not as pronounced as the beginning but now with time, the results look even more natural. (I will update review with pictures once she approves them). Overall, with how much your paying, I would say if you want to try this type of treatment, this is a good set to start with. ... show more

  • The only lash lift kit that has worked for me
This is the third kit I’ve tried and the only one that’s worked. The two other kits no matter what I did and how much glue I used, I could not get the pad to stick to my eyelids. This one actually worked! It does take some trial and error and patience to do the steps, but it’s worth it considering how expensive a professional lash lift is. I think I will get better with it and it will be easier the next go round. My eyelashes used to be long but I stopped using eyelash serums with prostaglandin, so this definitely helped my eyelashes be more visible than they were. Instructions were easy to follow as well! ... show more

  • Kinda easy to use
It was my first time ever doing my own and only my second one ever and it wasn’t too bad. I did have to cut the silicone pads you stick the lashes on because they didn’t fit my eye lids and wouldn’t stay on. The under eye pads were terrible and I ended up not using them. I wasn’t 100% sure what stick to use for what but I was able to get it done and it worked well. I even accidentally washed my face about 6 hours after and they still stayed. ... show more
